Cadence at Nocatee Apartments

The community has been very welcoming! The apartment, clubhouse, gym and the grounds have exceeded my expectations. The guest relations manager was so awesome & had us setup to go in just minutes! Great experience overall!

I toured many different apartment complexes, but I knew this was the one as soon as I came on site. Valerie gave me an amazing tour and took the time to show me several different unit options so I could really compare layouts and views. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed, which made a huge difference in my decision. She was also very flexible with my schedule, which I really appreciated. The application process was also super easy and straightforward. The entire management team, especially Valerie, has been very responsive with communication and very professional and personable throughout the entire process. The complex itself is in a very convenient area, with Publix within walking distance and the Town Center close by as well, which makes everyday errands really easy. After move-in, I had a few simple maintenance issues. Once I reported them, the maintenance team came quickly to look at everything and handled the situation with care and respect. Overall, I’ve had a great experience so far and would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.

After my mother passed away, I terminated her lease in July 2025. The security deposit was not issued until March 2026, approximately eight months after the lease was terminated. Received in September 2026. Company does not follow Florida Laws. And something does not seem right. The company also made deductions from the security deposit. I am requesting BBB assistance in resolving the delayed return of the security deposit and the disputed deductions. This is a very concerning situation.

If I could actually give a zero as a star, I would… I’ve had multiple packages go missing, and every time I try to resolve it, I get a different answer. UPS has confirmed the packages were delivered and told me to contact management. When I go to the office, I’m repeatedly told “we don’t have it”—only to come back a few days later, speak to someone else, and suddenly my package is there. This has happened more than once. On top of that, the way residents are treated is unacceptable. One of the managers in the front office literally put their hand up at me and said, “don’t even talk to me, I don’t care.” That alone tells you everything about how this place is run. The office is also completely inconsistent. They’re supposed to open at 9, but half the time they’re not even there. They close early, staff is constantly changing, and there is clearly no structure or accountability. It feels like no one is actually managing this property. If you rely on getting your mail/packages or expect basic professionalism, this is not the place. Very disappointing experience.
