Recently had custom doors installed by Butterfield Remodeling, not sure what the negative reviews are about because Clint, the owner is one of the most professional contractors I’ve ever done business with. He was quick on his feet! From the measurement to the installation, we were blown away! He Made contact, scheduled a measurement, and from there it was an amazing experience. Clint not only completed the installation quickly, he explained things every step of the way.. you could tell he is very experienced in the business! I will recommend to anyone, great quality work!

Clint came out and measured for a new balcony door which was different than the one that was on with a huge gap! And weatherstriped for year and half! Came today and did a superb job!!! Couldn't be happier!!! 5 star all around with Clint and partner and this company!!! Thanks again!!! Now I can paint my kitchen light blue!!!

I will note that my experience with Butterfield was several years ago, but I'm looking to do another door install and will not consider Lowe's due to the awful experience I had ordering from there and dealing with Butterfield. First, they didn't measure my backdoor correctly before ordering. So after waiting months for it to arrive, it showed up and wouldn't fit. The young man installing it cussed and complained the entire time before finally leaving with the door smashed into place. A second employee was scheduled to come out and replace the door when the new one arrived. This employee left gaping holes in the sides of my house...as a young, single woman at the time, I did not feel comfortable to stop the employee or tell him the job was unacceptable. At that point, I just wanted him out of my house. As soon as he left I called Lowe's. I dealt with Lowe's installation 'customer service' who kept insisting I had to use Butterfield for them to do another reinstall. I told Lowe's that Butterfield employees were not allowed on my property. Instead of taking me at my word, Lowe's had to schedule a manager to come out and see the shady job that Butterfield did before finally agreeing to order another door at no cost to me and selecting a different installer. It was a 6 month nightmare from hell, all just to install one front door and one back door.

We ordered French doors through Home Depot and Butterfield was who they contracted for the installation. They have been extremely unresponsive. They showed up 2 and half hours late on the date of the install. The doors are not installed properly as they are not flush with the walls. They started squeaking about a week after installation which I'm guessing is because they were not properly installed. I've been going back and forth with Home Depot trying to get the installer back out to fix the issues but they are not responding to Home Depot anymore. We 1000% DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.
