company. I hired Brandon in May 2026 and paid his fee to handle the company’s Florida dissolution and the related Washington filings. The shareholder dissolution documents were fully signed by June 2, and on June 15 Brandon told me that he was finalizing the Florida dissolution and Washington reinstatement/withdrawal filings and would send them over shortly. After that, communication essentially stopped. I followed up repeatedly in August and September asking for basic updates, copies of filings, confirmation of what had been completed, and whether anything further was required from me. I received no response to multiple emails. During a call on September 11, Brandon explained that an AI/email system had apparently been automatically archiving my messages. I was understanding of that explanation (but also suspicious) and expected communication to improve afterward. Unfortunately, it did not. I still did not receive the promised follow-up, filing documents, or a clear accounting of what work had actually been completed. I ultimately had to finish the remaining Florida and Washington closure work myself. On September 18, I emailed again requesting my complete client file, a summary of the work performed, and a review of whether a refund was appropriate given that I had to complete much of the closure process myself. As of October 12, I still have not received a response. The most frustrating part was not simply that there were delays — it was the repeated lack of communication. When you hire an attorney to dissolve a corporation, you need to know whether filings have actually been submitted, whether the company is still active, and whether there are outstanding obligations. For weeks at a time, I could not get answers to those basic questions. I paid for professional assistance specifically so that I would not have to navigate this process on my own, but that is ultimately what happened. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm if timely communication and follow-through are important to you.
Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We paid several thousand dollars for legal services intended to assist our clients, and the work we engaged him to complete was never finished. Despite the time and money invested, we were left with outstanding matters that still needed to be resolved. Based on our experience, I would not recommend his services. We expected much better communication, follow-through, and professionalism from an attorney we trusted to support our clients.
Brandon Stanko missed the main hearing for my case against a former employee. Worst part about it is that he kept this information from me for over a year. We had several law tap conferences for updates after the missed hearing and he purposely lied to me saying that" he was still waiting for a court date". Or blaming his "new assistant" for dropping the ball! I had a separate attorney check into my case and he told me that Brandon missed the hearing and it was dismissed over a year ago. When I confronted brandon he confessed that he missed the hearing and he pleaded with me not to file malpractice with the Florida bar. We settled on an amount to end our relationship and he breached our agreement and hasn't made a payment in 6+ months. I have since filed a complaint with the bar and it is under investigation to date. I am now filing a lawsuit to recover the amount in our agreement! Be warned....stay far away from this shyster! He is bad news! Hopefully the bar will take the necessary action so he can't harm anyone else like he has me and these other reviewers!!!
I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Brandon Stanko. What should have been a straightforward legal matter for our nonprofit foundation turned into months of unnecessary delays, poor communication, and repeated misrepresentations. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered for weeks at a time, leaving us constantly wondering if anything was actually being done. This wasn’t just another legal matter. We were working to establish a foundation in memory of my father and my sister, both of whom passed away from heart disease. Every unnecessary delay meant lost time that could have been spent raising awareness, supporting families, and honoring their legacy. Professionalism, communication, and follow-through are essential when clients place their trust in an attorney. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I cannot recommend Brandon Stanko based on the significant delays, lack of responsiveness, and overall handling of our matter.
Awful attorney. Paid him $2,000 to reinstate my nonprofit and he never did. Lied to me throughout two years, blaming the IRS for taking so long. He never even submitted the paperwork. Still waiting for my money back from him after taking him to small claims court.
