Boathouse at Student Union

They make a really good, full chicken Caesar salad in a pleasant, peaceful, and quiet dining experience. I wish to eat here again. 🥗 🐥

i don’t ever write reviews so i’m only writing this because of how genuinely awful my experience with the boathouse has been. we’ll just look at today’s example though: ordered a pesto pasta w meatballs and cheese. waited about 30 min and went up to check what was going on. they proceeded to tell me that the pesto would take about 10-15 min to prepare. after that time passed, they then called me back up and told me there was no pesto available so i changed to alfredo. after a full HOUR after i originally ordered passed, i went back up and they proceeded to tell me to wait another 10-15 min. so i waited quite patiently and really held my tongue cus i try not to be a rude customer. when i FINALLY got my food, it was alfredo with chicken, not meatballs. at this point though, i was so hungry and just overall done that i took it gratefully. probably only ate 1/3 of the bowl though because it was actually the worst pasta i’ve ever consumed. i’m not even picky either so they really messed up. in conclusion, an hour and a half later and i’m still hungry! osprey spirit also significantly lowered 👎🏼

Me and my girlfriend thought we would stop by to get a milkshake. The milkshake was pretty much milk with Oreo pieces in it. When I told the employee about it, he told me that there was nothing they could do. He said It was just like that because they had left the ice cream out and it was melted. So then I asked for my money back and I was told I couldn’t get a refund and I asked if they could remove it from the menu so no one else will try and get it and he said “nahhh”. The least a good manager could do is offer something else to replace the item, but instead I spent 16 dollars and left empty handed. I do not wish this restaurant on my worst enemy.

The best dining experience at UNF. For what it is, the food is pretty good and there’s a decent variety of options. But most importantly, considering it’s on a college campus, the food is cheap considering the price. Only downsides are that the service isn’t always great, such as how I consistently have to remind someone to give me the drink I paid for every time I visit. Furthermore, the soda fountains are often out of order to some extent and the sauce dispensers are usually empty.
