Honestly had such a good time at Biscottis! I had lunch with my family there and we got the double stack burger, brie bread, Caesar salad, and a pizza. Everything was seriously so delicious! You can totally tell it is all made fresh from scratch because the flavors were amazing. The service was excellent and the staff was super nice, making it an overall great experience. Love the historic, cozy vibe of the place too. Definitely worth a visit!
A true Jacksonville tradition. You will be so happy to enjoy all the food, drink, and desserts here. Biscotti’s is a fantastic way to spend time with people. I’ve personally loved lunch and brunch here several times over the years. I cannot recommend a restaurant more than Biscotti’s.
Biscottis in Jacksonville’s Avondale neighborhood is one of those restaurants that immediately feels like a local favorite the moment you walk in. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and seated right away, and the room had a great energy with people clearly enjoying everything from brunch to casual gatherings with friends. One thing that immediately catches your eye is the bakery display filled with incredible cakes and desserts. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will absolutely get your attention. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and I have to say this was one of those rare moments where the first bite tells you everything you need to know. The crust was perfectly balanced, the filling was rich and silky, and the flavor combination was exceptional. It was so good we gave it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best award, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. I ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with the house made white cheddar hash browns and they were fantastic. The pancakes had a warm sweetness that made them incredibly satisfying, and the hash browns were crisp with just the right amount of cheesy richness. Another thing worth mentioning is that Biscottis has the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, which means they support local farmers, sustainable practices, and high quality ingredients. If you are looking for a great brunch spot, a relaxed date night restaurant, or a place to meet friends for amazing food, Biscottis should absolutely be on your list. Take a look at the photos and you will understand why.
Biscottis, Jacksonville Biscottis, long regarded as one of Jacksonville’s most reliable neighborhood institutions, continues to demonstrate that its reputation is well‑earned — not only at dinner, where its consistency is well documented, but also during brunch, where the kitchen shows equal finesse and confidence. The meal began with cocktails, an area where Biscottis has quietly excelled in recent years. The “Time After Time” — a signature gin‑forward creation — showcased an impressive balance of aromatics and acidity. The thyme and honey provided a crisp herbal sweetness, while pineapple added brightness, all crowned with a striking red wine float that deepened the drink’s complexity. It is a cocktail that demonstrates both restraint and creativity. Equally notable was the “Here Comes the Sun,” a prosecco‑based cocktail built on blueberry purée and fresh lemon. The execution was superb: vibrant, clean, and refreshingly modern. It is the kind of brunch cocktail that feels celebratory without being cloying, and it sets a high bar for the courses that follow. The kitchen delivered a trio of entrées that collectively highlight Biscottis’ ability to elevate familiar brunch staples. • The house‑made braised corned beef hash was a standout, with tender, deeply flavored corned beef folded into a well‑seasoned hash. The dish succeeds because it respects tradition while improving upon it through careful preparation. • The crab Benedict offered a thoughtful reinterpretation of a classic. A generous portion of jumbo lump crab provided natural sweetness and richness, complemented by a precisely poached egg. The dish is indulgent without excess, and its balance reflects a confident kitchen. • The steak and eggs with chimichurri demonstrated Biscottis’ understanding of simplicity done well. The steak arrived medium‑rare, as requested, with a vibrant chimichurri that added herbal lift and acidity. It is a dish that relies on execution rather than embellishment, and the kitchen delivered. Service was warm and attentive throughout — a hallmark of Biscottis — with particular praise owed to our server, whose professionalism and hospitality enhanced the experience. In a dining landscape where brunch can often feel formulaic, Biscottis continues to distinguish itself through thoughtful preparation, balanced flavors, and a clear respect for its craft. It remains one of Jacksonville’s most dependable and rewarding restaurants, and its brunch service only reinforces that standing. — Dalton Smith
As a wedding and event planner, I highly recommend their catering! Special shout out to Monica and her team for an incredible experience. The food at the wedding tasted just as good as the tasting. The team worked great together and the hospitality they provided both guests and the vendor team was 10/10. Punctual, kind, went above and beyond and of course delicious. They made the experience so smooth and the kitchen and tables were left spotless!
