Wow, pleasantly surprised - and the portions are absolutely huge! The small is easily enough for two people. I had the Big Al’s with truffle fries, and it was incredible. The sandwich was loaded with premium beef, sautéed mushrooms, onions, and all the perfect toppings. It came with a delicious cheese sauce, and everything was piping hot. But this loaf… might be one of the best I’ve ever had. Super fluffy on the inside with that perfect crunch on the outside. The whole thing just came together perfectly. 10/10 experience - the food was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try more. TRY IT ASAP!!
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT BEST CHEESESTEAKS ANYWHERE NEAR HERE!!! We read the reviews and my husband and my parents being from Philly, we knew we had to try this place. SO glad we did!!! First of all, the food was so delicious, every bite made me want to cry happy tears. We got the Big Al and truffles fries, and the cheesesteak egg rolls, and it was the absolute best. The portions are HUGE, even the small, and is such a good deal for what you pay. Secondly, Big Al was there and could not be anymore of a great human. He supports small businesses. He gets all his beef from Fort McCoy Ranch in Fort McCoy, Florida, and it is the freshest, most delicious beef. He makes his own limeades which are equally delicious. His ice cream is from Sarasota, Florida and is amish dairy. So good. Please do yourself a favor and go try this place immediately! You won't be disappointed! We will be back very soon. ❤️
(PHILLY NATIVE) Came in here at 1 AM on a Saturday (Sunday), not busy at all but the staff was very friendly given the time. The OG was super tasty. With the homemade “Whiz” sauce which doesn’t make you feel sluggish like regular Cheese Whiz, the meat was more thick than thin which was perfect, seasoning was on point. Grilled (fried) Onions were good as well. Truffle fries were also good. SECOND: Came in here again for lunch around 2 PM on Sunday to get the pizza steak (Paison) which was super good as well.
I have consumed my fair share of cheesesteaks in my lifetime, including Mom and Pop shops in Philly and the big names in Philly. This spot is by far the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had! There’s something about the Cooper’s cheese that just enhances everything! Do not leave there without getting the egg rolls, they are absolutely phenomenal!
Talk about tastyyyy! I got the OG (small), add sweet peppers. Tables were mostly filled inside but quick to order and my food was ready in a few minutes. As many have said, the portion are big with flavor to boot. The liquid gold is just that, thick and creamy, really coats the mouth 👀. While I cant speak to the authenticity of it being a philly, I dont think that's what Big Al is going for. Its a Arlington Cheesesteak that should be looked at as its own heavy weight champion. Will definitely be back to try more!
