I've been shopping here for over 10 years and have always supported the mission behind this store. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it. Over the past year, the pricing has become completely unreasonable. I understand setting aside genuinely valuable or collectible items for individual pricing, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. What I don't understand is pricing nearly every halfway decent piece of clothing, dishware, or household item at or near retail value. On my most recent visit, I saw plates from Dollar Tree priced at $4 each. I also saw an unbranded, heavily worn ceramic mixing bowl marked at $50. This is ludicrous. Why would anyone choose secondhand over retail when the savings have disappeared? The two women who seem to be managing this place need a serious reality check.
This place is amazing! They accept clothes and other unwanted items, and they use the donations to help domestic violence victims and survivors. They have clothes by all sizes, so it’s super easy to find what you need. I always find great deals here! They also have specific days and times when they accept donations, so it’s worth checking out before you go.
The black sharpie was a immediate issue to me as some of the items were marked directly with sharpie!! Also I couldn't believe how severely overpriced some of the items were. At this point I wouldn't consider this a thrift store when decorative shelf items in the home goods areas are $80+.
I’ve had good finds here- but I have to be in and out so fast because it is insanely hot inside. The fact that the air conditioner hasn’t been fixed in such a long time is outrageous. The prices at this ‘thrift shop’ are so high It’s insane they refuse to fix the AC. It’s bad conditions for shoppers, employees, and volunteers.
My wife and I couldn’t resist how hot it is inside, no matter the variety of you guys have for sale, we couldn’t stay long enough because the air conditioner isn’t working…. They don’t have the right conditions neither for the customers or employees, it is really unfair. Even with fan, anyone is able to pass out, and I think you guys are supposed to put attention to what customers write on the reviews.
