BeNu Integrative Psychiatry

Amazing woman who has helped me now for nearly 8 years! She goes above and beyond and her staff, especially April the patient care coordinator, always answers the phone, or calls me back immediately; if you prefer calling instead of using the portal to contact Angela directly. Angela cares about me, and I know she gives the same care to her all her patients! She’s patient and kind, and the ONLY psychiatrist who has treated me the way I would treat others; with respect and never feeling like I’m a nuisance, when, in the past I always felt like my previous Doctors and ARNP’s were just rude and didn’t want to take the time to listen! Angela White will work with you, if you are on medication, and will suggest what may work better, not being pushy like other Doctors and ARNPs who want to suggest the newest drug that’s supposed to do wonders! But not every medication works like it should for a specific patient. even if it’s the new “ Miracle “ drug that’s replacing the old. In the past I would feel it was more about prescribing what ‘they’ thought would work — Instead of actually listening to the patient and working with the patient, to find a medication and/or treatment plan that works for you! Angela is down to earth and I’ve never felt judged, or just uncomfortable, in general. I can rely on her, and her staff(April is Amazing)and no matter what I need they go the extra mile! There’s been many times, I would go over the time allotted for my appointment and she would listen and give me the encouragement I needed. She truly is a loving and caring Individual! I know in my heart she truly cares about whatever you may be going through and will help you, without being overly assertive or pushy, in deciding what’s best for you. She listens and works with you to give the best care that’s best for YOU! And has said to me, I know my body and what I’m feeling and what medication are helping. And she will be honest with you if she thinks there’s a better alternative, without leaving you feeling you don’t know what you’re experiencing — in YOUR mind and body. Before, every Doctor/ARNP, I dreaded my appointment because I didn’t feel like they cared. it’s an uncomfortable feeling when you’re putting your trust in someone who’s in charge of treating you, and you feel like they don’t care. Or just don’t feel like hearing you and listening to your concerns, but pushing drugs on you that you may not even need. Now I have assurance that I’m in the care of people who I can trust and rely on! Sadly, there’s too many Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, in Psychiatry, who are not caring or understanding, and are just plain arrogant when you don’t like the treatment plan they imply is best for you. And will not listen to the patient, and take the time to discuss a plan or approach, that’s fitting for YOU! And yes, it is about YOU when it comes to your mental health and what you’re putting in your body. I’ve never once felt like I needed to find another provider to help me while in her care. Or, when calling April, the patient care coordinator; even when I would apologize for calling for help with my medications, when the pharmacy was giving me a hard time, or for other issues — She always assured me to call anytime I need to and never to apologize bc she’s there when I need help! The care I receive from her staff is efficient and fast and no matter what the issue is, or concerns, Angela and her staff make me feel like home. And feeling at “home” in the care of your provider — who’s job is to help you — it should feel like home :-) So if you’re in need of a doctor, and staff, who will be there for you and listen, bc it’s your mind and body, and it should be treated with proper care(medically and spiritually.) I highly recommend Angela White and trust her to care for anyone, but also my loved ones! — Best wishes in your recovery; healing your mind, body and spirit!!

I have been seeing Angela since 2008 and have the upmost respect for her. Her care and compassion- paired with expansive knowledge gives her a unique treatment method. I could never imagine being able to trust another provider as I do, Angela. (*and her WONDERFUL staff!!!)

Heather was very calming and reassuring. Although my head space is really really not good right now, It's awesome to have found somebody who's got a sweet calmness which I really need. I truly hope that we can get the protocol all approved, so I can start to feel better and have a life. I am so besides myself these days and I'm very grateful to be on a path with truly caring professionals and an Earth Angel.Thank you so much Heather and BeNu. Update: Heather is my Earth Angel, I know that any treatment takes a while. But the care I'm getting with BeNu and Heather and the hope that I've been given is invaluable. Next week will be week five of treatment. Heather is also discovering other things that are contributing to my overall well-being (or lack thereof) and putting action plans into motion. I have the pleasure of working with Angela this week. I just wanted to say that I'm so grateful that she has created this organization. It is so very important and her mission to the cause of mental Health is so deep rooted with heart. How lucky are we to have BeNu what is great professionals. I have been seeing heather since May now. And i'm still very happy. She's really taking my health matter seriously and doing the very best she can to offer advice in direction as well as overseeing my mental health.

Heather Burson is truly heaven-sent. I’ve been receiving treatment for the past 4–5 years, from my time in the military through the present, and I’ve always dreaded having to start over with a new provider. From the very beginning, Heather made me feel comfortable and at ease. She is caring, compassionate, sincere, and incredibly easy to talk to. She genuinely listens and makes you feel heard and understood. I have full confidence in her treatment and the care she provides.
