Dr. Denese Anderson

What a difference Dr. Denese Anderson has made in my life and the lives of several of my family members! There are very few mental health professionals that I would recommend, but without hesitation I would easily give her 10 stars if that were an option. If you are looking for a biblically sound place to heal and to grow, this is it! “Dr. D” is one of the most professional and biblically based therapists I’ve ever encountered. She has successfully walked with me and my family through grief, pain, forgiveness, and so much more, and I am eternally grateful for all I’ve received. There hasn’t been an appointment I’ve walked away from where I wasn’t filled with hope and with practical tools I’ve needed for the steps I had to take toward my healing. Her office provides a safe place of both well rounded and well grounded counseling; it’s the perfect place to heal. If you are struggling with any kind of mental health issue, with grief, with marriage or family issues, I can tell you from experience that this is the place where you will find healing, peace, restoration, and freedom.

Words can't begin to describe how fortunate I am for Dr. Anderson. Her in-depth knowledge and spiritual wisdom has healed my broken heart and mind countless times. Though I am in my final days of singleness, her book prepares me for my days ahead as a wife. Her words will be a guided tour along the marital path; avoiding pitfalls, while understanding healing, forgiveness, and love with applied faith. Dr. D truly gets it. Her love and compassion simply resonates all through her writings. I would recommend everyone, regardless of relationship status to read and re-read How to Hold On- it is perspective changing for when life's challenges seem overwhelming.

Dr. D has counseled me through several difficult seasons in my life & I will forever be grateful for her wise counsel & guidance. She always pointed me to Scriptural truth & gave God all the glory. She has helped me grow in my faith, my marriage, & God’s call on my life. I have also had the immense pleasure of being mentored by Dr. D for a few years, as I am in the process of becoming a Christian Counselor. She graciously allowed me to intern with her & during that time, I watched in amazement as God worked through her to help heal hurting people. Dr. D taught me the importance of seeking God daily, always being open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and speaking truth in love... in every day life, and especially during counseling sessions.

Dr Denese is a professional who is very caring, knowledgeable and knows how to help navigate through the healing process. I am blessed to have her as my therapist.
