Beach Diner Fernandina Beach

Been coming here for many years. Always a go to spot for breakfast or lunch. Tried the Smothered Roast Beef Sandwich for the first time here. Comes on a giant toasted bun with roast beef, provolone cheese, grilled onions and peppers. Lettuce and a tomato is added but not needed. The potato salad here is always good. The sandwich is good but doesn’t scream wow factor. But I will return for my usual breakfast or other lunch specials

We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and the wait wasn't too bad. About 15 minutes. Our server was great! I had one of the breakfast platters with eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, home fries, and pancakes. My husband had the huevos rancheros, which he really enjoyed! I enjoyed everything except for the eggs, which I had scrambled--they did not have any flavor to them. Home fries were my favorite. We enjoyed the atmosphere of beach diner and had a great time celebrating Mother's Day as a family!

Very appropriate name for this cute beachy diner. Great food and service in a clean and bright setting. We were seated quickly, food ordered and served, all within 15-20 minutes. We chose the Blackened Salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy, along with Meatloaf with squash medley and collard greens. Everything was delicious with good sizes portions. There wer plenty of seats at the bar and booths around. There might be seating outside as well. I will check next time. We are looking forward to going back again.

I had the eggs with potatoes and English muffin. The potatoes were my great. I didn't like the English muffin because it is didn't taste like real butter. My wife's pancakes were not tasty. $40 for two people for breakfast.
