Stopped in for an early morning smashburger. With a $2.00 tip (it's self service) the total was $18.21. The burger was OK, but definitely NOT a smashburger. It was a normal frozen patty. The kicker? They upcharge for the smash smashburger special. I was the ticket only the grill when I placed my order. For the price I paid l, I would go to any other restaurant in Riverside for a smashburger before going to Barr's. Also, I ordered american cheese. Not sure what was put on the burger.
I frequent this restaurant as it is very close to my job, but unfortunately today will be the last time I go there. I called to place a to go order only because their online ordering system was down. I was on hold for 10 minutes and made it to the restaurant so I had to just go in and order. I mentioned it to the staff and was forgiving because I assumed they were just busy. I ordered a biscuit and a fried egg BLT on a bagel. The blt came with no lettuce, tomato or mayo. I didn’t discover this until I was too far to go back. How a BLT comes without two of the main ingredients is careless and I don’t spend my hard earned money to be not shown the attention to detail I deserve. Will not be returning. EDIT: the biscuit I ordered did not have cheese on it, even though cheese is an up charge.
Tuesday 9/29/2025 Went to try this place out. The lady up front was nice and took my order. Received my food went to the car. Open the box up the presentation was nice. The fries was nicely seasoned and crunchy and the burger was on the spot. Totally recommend this place.
First time here and it was an excellent experience. Super friendly, food was great and the prices were so reasonable! Simple decor and laidback vibe. I got the turkey Reuben and it was so good! Fried are like a lightly battered fry so they were crispy outside and soft inside. Yum! Kids got nuggets and my husband had the grit bowl. All great. Will definitely be back.
I ordered the fried egg BLT. The samich was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS This was my first time in and I’ll definitely be going back. Is it a small hole in the wall place yes BUT the food in my opinion is amazing
