Loved everything! Josh & Ash were so very attentive, kind and patient answering all of our questions and made our experience wonderful. We ordered Pretty Toast and Caesar with jammy egg. Only one thing… the salad’s crispy chickpeas and croutons were “hard” ,, not “crispy”. I shared this with Josh so that he would be able to share my comment with the kitchen. This did not detract from my five star review because the dressing was sublime! Perfectly seasoned and not overly dressed. The shaved parm on top was so lovely! The jammy egg was perfect. This was Mom’s second visit in 3 days, and my first. Will definitely return!!! Hint: there is plenty of room for more outdoor seating,,, please add more outdoor tables :)

A true St Augustine hidden gem! We had a cortado and a salted tahini latte…the salted tahini was soooo good. We don’t normally order flavored drinks but we’re blown away! Not too sweet. Honestly perfect! The design of the space is amazingly done. Feels confidently upscale yet cozy without feeling pretentious. And the staff is friendly.
Vibe is good and pleasing just like coffee shops in this holiday town. They use Lineage Coffee grounds from Orlando. Great Choice! Charging $7 for an 8oz mocha is a massive markup, especially when Lineage’s flagship locations in Orlando charge under $5 for the same 8 oz size. This isn't NYC, and the coffee quality currently doesn't justify the "big city" price tag. While the barista provided great service, the actual taste of the drink needs significant work and recalibration. In this area, local spots like Southern Grounds, Relampago and The Kookaburra offer a much better balance of quality, price, and atmosphere. I’d love to return for the aesthetic, but the coffee needs to match the premium price point first.
First time visiting and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bar Citra. Tucked right off N Ponce de Leon, once you enter, the ambiance brings you into a mix between the simplicity of a European cafe and the essence of an Australian surf town. After all my travels, I haven’t quite seen a cafe like it. I only tried the coffee but thoroughly enjoyed the cardamom latte. They make homemade syrup so I had to try! At night they serve wine 🍷 I will be back.
I recently visited Bar Citra with a friend for coffee, and it was an absolute delight. I'd heard great things about this spot, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The interior is super cool, with a well-thought-out space that’s design-forward and warm. Although I didn't drink, it seemed like there were a ton of great wine selections available. My breakfast selection was simple, but delicious, and the coffee was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even warmer. While there, I noticed a group of moms hanging out with their kids, which added to the sense that this is a welcoming space for parents with young children who want to enjoy some time together with a great coffee. I only wish I had something like this back home! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great people!
