This has been my go to PCP for a couple of years now and I couldn't be happier with my time here. The entire office always seems to be running smoothly when I'm there. I've rarely if ever been kept waiting to be seen. During my time as a patient I've seen Dr. Hagerbrant and Jennifer Scott, PA-C. They've always listened carefully, acting professionally and with empathy. Any concerns have always been taken seriously and handled expeditiously, whether in person or through the portal. The rest of the staff that works here is just as kind and is always a pleasure to work with.
Horrible Lab and Office management, on 8-4 went for routine check up. blood was taken by a filthy looking nurse named Beverly. Should have know then to leave, next day my arm swelled up and had significant pain and bruising. i added this to my chart and was told to come in right away, as in emergency. Was then intructed to get ultrasound to be sure i didnt have a boodclot, they refused to pay or chip in towards this. I paid out of pocket! almost a month later i still have pain and brusing. Brooke the office manager refused to remove my copay for 2 visits stemming from injury from your office! not even one 1 of the 2 copay removed or discounted. nothing. Brooke seemily could care less, mundane non chalalant, maybe because this occurs often. absolutley avoid this location.
I am deeply disappointed in the lack of support and basic care coordination from Dr. Hagerbrant. After a previous experience within this practice where a referral led to a seven-month wait for a specialist—only for the tests to come back negative—I requested a simple, external lab order (H. pylori/SIBO) to determine if a GI specialist was even necessary. Despite multiple polite requests for a clinical or policy-based reason why a Primary Care Physician cannot order standard external labs for a patient with chronic iron deficiency, I was met with dismissive, 'copy-paste' responses. Instead of acting as a partner in my health to avoid unnecessary specialist fees and months of waiting, Dr. Hagerbrant simply pushed me toward a specialist to perform a test that a PCP is fully capable of ordering through Quest. The refusal to provide a transparent explanation or to facilitate a basic diagnostic screening is a major barrier to efficient care. As a result, I will be finding a new doctor who actually cares about the time and expenses incurred by their patients. If you are looking for a physician who values your time and financial resources, I suggest you look elsewhere.
I've never been more frustrated with a company in my life. with health insurance, I went for one appointment. i paid the bill and made sure to get a paid in full letter because of how shady this company is. Yet still get an additional bill for the same appointment 2 weeks later. If you go here be prepared to get multiple separate bills for the same service. its incredible. they are fraudulent. going here should be a last resort. they are great as long as you dont mind unlimited extra bills after your appointment.
I absolutely love the entire staff at the Baptist Primary Care office at Julington Creek. They have been professional and courteous from the front desk to the physicians and everyone in between . Thank you
