Balla's Caribbean Restaurant

I’m giving a three because I ordered a medium oxtail plate rice and peas with cabbage it cost Me $26.88 and I only got 5 1/2 bones one of them look like it had been broken up. The oxtails have gotten smaller and you get less for $25 no and then you don’t have the price up there to order the small oxtail plate had bigger bones and they were a total of Five oxtail pieces that’s not adding up so I won’t be back for a while until they fix this and decide how many oxtails you should be getting per small medium and large plate because this is inconsistent !! The pictures show a medium oxtail to the left and a small oxtail to the right and I bought the small last week. I don’t know if the oxtail gravy is broth because I asked for oxtail gravy on my rice and it seems like I’m not getting it

This would be the second time we visited ballas Caribbean restaurant The service has been very friendly and prompt the food is always hot and fresh My favorite dish would be the jerk chicken My wife's favorite dish is the curry goat. The vibes are always chill laid back and relaxed there's plenty of seating to eat and just hang out and have a good time

Oxtails with rice and peas were absolutely delicious. My order was mixed up and ended up getting the jerk chicken. I did not enjoy it, rice was mushy. My other reason for 3 stars I ordered coco bread and it was a brick. It was hard like they warmed it up to long. But I’ll be returning to actually get my curry chicken.

OMG, the jerk chicken was fantastic!😋 it was well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Very athletic. Mostly order to go. Small dine in area with a club bar area in the back. The place sits on the corner in a neighborhood next to an auto repair shop. Parking is not the best but the crew is very friendly, very helpful and very passionate about their food!
