The Vibe was good. I went with a friend for her Birthday. It was Léo season and Dr.Doom were there and he was one of the Dj's. I had wings and asked for Xtra crispy. However, it wasn't. I had to take home and reheat in air fry to the crisp. But, Molly our Waitress was amazing and so was the drinks !
We came on a Wednesday evening. We were literally the only table there. It took 45 minutes for our 1st drink to come. We saw the waiter twice. Had to catch him to order an appetizer. Worst service ever. I don't care what your excuse is... if somebody would've came to our table and would've explained it, it would've been understood. But blaming the other person ain't helping. Then, when i finally wanted to close my tab, you have the balls to ask me what I had. In a good note... the DJ knew what he was doing. His music was popping. The food was great too. I was me than willing to spend good money in this place but they showed me Theo didn't want it. We left and spend it somewhere else where it was appreciated.
My visit to Babylon Restaurant was an exercise in disappointment from start to finish. The service was utterly unacceptable. Our table, specifically the booth sofa, was visibly stained and sticky from what appeared to be previous food spills. This set a poor first impression. Once seated, we were nearly forgotten. Our hookah took an inexcusable amount of time to arrive, with no check-ins or apologies from the staff. We had to flag down servers multiple times for basic requests. The food was profoundly mediocre, especially for the price. We ordered the Mediterranean Charcuterie Board, the Ground Lamb Kebab, and the Kibbeh. The charcuterie board was unremarkable and forgettable. The lamb kebab was dry and lacked flavor. Most shockingly, the kibbeh was raw and undercooked in the center, which is not only unappetizing but a serious food safety concern. We sent it back and lost our appetite. Between the filthy seating, the negligent service, the underwhelming and unsafe food, and the high prices, this experience was entirely unworthy. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are far better options in the area for Mediterranean cuisine.
I had to come on here and talk about Babylon Restaurant and Lounge because wow… their Mediterranean appetizers were incredible. The fresh pita bread was soft and warm, and the Muhammara I tried for the first time was absolutely delicious now I’m obsessed and already planning my next visit just to have it again. And the pistachio baklava? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing, and the owner was super attentive, which made the whole experience even better. We’re definitely going back, and I’m pretty sure this is about to become our new girls’ spot. They have a huge patio where you can smoke hookah, a great variety of cocktails, and they’re always hosting events. Plus, the place is massive room for 600+ people. Highly recommend it!
Absolutely delicious food. Very authentic. The vibe here is off the charts. Service is impressive and the hookah is the best in town. Don’t skip this gem off a place. Never a dull moment here, with parties happening almost every weekend.
