Loved the sampler! It was the perfect 1st time dish to let me try heap of new foods. Each individual item on its own was good but when you combined them together with the bread to make your own sandwich/gyro/taco it became heavenly. Especially the parsley salad thing. Ask about it because I dont want to spell its actual name wrong but it added the perfect zest to.balance out the falafel and hummus. The staff was kind and the environment is exactly what you would imagine an out of the way diner to be.
Ayus's Cafe is tucked away in a by lane off Baymeadows Way. We almost thought Google maps was wrong. A little hidden gems that has Mediterranean options and some delicious Ethiopian! The injera is made fresh in store. Run by a mother daughter duo, Ayu and Rachel were friendly and helpful. We got the Sampler and the Key Wot. Loved it all. The falafel was crisp and yummy, and the key wot with injera was very flavorful. Do try them out!
This restaurant is a hidden gem! Wonderful food! Just the right amount of food that isn’t too salty and seasoned just right. If we lived closer we would eat here everyday. Give it a try! Thank you for the great food!
Super cute cafe. I had the chicken shawarma with fries. My friend gets the chicken pita and swears by it. Kibbeh was less impressive. Very dry and not what I’m used to having from other Mediterranean restaurants. Not gonna hold it against them tho. The shawarma was great.
Ive been here about 4 times and i try something new everytime and everything has exceeded my expectations. It is so tasty like its homemade. obsessed with this place and i almost never leave reviews but this small business is really nice. Ive tried grilled cheese sandwich, grilled chicken salad and the cheese burger and its all tasty. Great for lunch breaks and very affordable.
