Añejo Cocina has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants since my husband and I moved to Yulee from Virginia about a month ago. We’ve already been back several times, and every visit has been consistently outstanding! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it’s the perfectly cooked ribeye topped with chimichurri, the loaded nachos, or the delicious sides, every dish is packed with flavor and generous portions. You can tell they take pride in both the quality and presentation of their food. What truly keeps us coming back, though, is the exceptional service. Our bartender, Derek, is absolutely phenomenal! He always greets us with a smile, remembers us, makes fantastic drink recommendations, and provides attentive, friendly service that makes us feel like regulars. He genuinely goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food, great drinks, and outstanding hospitality, Añejo Cocina is a must-visit. We’re so happy we found this gem after moving to Florida, and it’s definitely become our go-to spot. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service with a smile. A very pleasant and positive environment for customers and staff alike. Loved the decor and plenty of seating. Seems to be limited by parking (which I saw an overflow dirt lot on the side/in back). The food was delicious. Chips/salsa for all. Loved the level of spice. The portions are very generous (which is something awesome to see these days with all the shrink-flation happening). Great place to grab a bite of some authentic international food.
We ordered the Añejo Sampler and the Loaded Avocado with Shrimp. We usually stop by right after lunch, and I always order my favorite—the Loaded Avocado with Shrimp. It's been consistently delicious every visit. The avocado is always fresh and never mushy, with plenty of shrimp. I also can't resist asking for their homemade hottest hot sauce—it takes the dish to the next level! The Añejo Sampler was definitely worth trying. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared.
A casual Mexican restaurant. On Saturday evening the wait was short. Staff all very pleasant and our food came quickly. I had a dish with cactus, onions, peppers, shrimp, beef, chicken and pork. This was good but easily served two. The chicken was very dry and I’ve experienced a bit more flavored sauce with this dish at other restaurants. Overall, I was satisfied, we were disappointed that they don’t have enough printed menus for each guest and in fact, sometimes they don’t have enough menus and you have to use a QR code from the table I think we’ve all gotten used to QR codes but when it’s just a picture of the menu, it makes it very hard to read and navigate
We decided to venture out from GA for Mexican food. We were greeted by Payton and she was our server. She was amazing… food was amazing. My margaritas were so good! We can’t wait to come back and try some other things. Thanks Payton!! Go noles!!
