Ancient Coast Expeditions

I must say, I did this excursion with my guide Renee. She was so into teaching the art of searching for Sharks teeth. I've probably in all the years that I lived in St. Augustine found maybe two. This day I learned how to identify, and search for and locate those elusive sharks teeth. I think my haul was about two dozen all within our excursion. Renee is not only knowledgeable, she truly takes her work very serious. She shared history and the research she has done over the years. We were able to find several other fossils that I had no clue what they were. Bottom line I give this excursion a 10 if your are into not only looking for sharks teeth, but also learning about the how and why of this phenomenon that so many of use are curious about.

Amazing morning! So much fun learning about the St Augustine beach and all of the treasures it can hold. Renee was so warm, welcoming and lovely for us to spend our time with.
