Ancient City Pa Kua

Ancient Pa Kua is so much more than a martial arts school. Master Lori is a true teacher of the soul. She doesn’t simply teach technique—she takes time to talk with her students about meditation, inner strength, and how to approach difficulties in life with a calmer and stronger mind. There is something very special about the way she teaches. Her lessons go beyond the classroom and give students tools they can actually carry into everyday life. She teaches discipline and confidence, but also kindness, balance, patience, and respect. It is rare to find a teacher who genuinely cares about developing the whole person, not just their martial arts skills. We feel very fortunate to have found Master Lori and the Ancient Pa Kua community.

Our family has been part of Ancient City Pa-Kua for four years, and it has become a very special place for us. My daughter Anna has grown up with this wonderful community, and we are so grateful for the kindness, patience, encouragement, and support she has received from her instructors. Ancient City Pa-Kua has also made a difference in my own life. As a mom, I decided to try archery there, and it became so much more than just learning a new skill. Archery gave me a place to slow down, focus, clear my mind, and find some peace during difficult times. It genuinely had a positive impact on my mental well-being. What makes Ancient City Pa-Kua special is that it isn’t just a place to take classes—it feels like a community where children and adults can learn, grow, gain confidence, and feel supported. After four years, we are still very happy to be part of the Ancient City Pa-Kua family. ❤️ We highly recommend them!

There isn’t enough space to thoroughly describe how much we love this business! We joined about 3.5 years ago on a whim because my daughter wanted to try out acrobatics and maybe get into martial arts. Master Lori offered a free class to try it out and she loved it! We have been members ever since. They offer so many different classes and tons of flexibility on memberships and times. It’s really nice to be able to switch up the classes every week depending on what you feel like learning and what your schedule allows. She runs a fantastic and affordable summer camp (open to non members also). My daughter has made some wonderful strides in her growth since joining Pa Kua, not only in her martial and archery skills, but more importantly her life skills. Her confidence has improved drastically. Her focus is better as a result. Master Lori is immensely patient and kind and truly works to help her students excel and succeed in class and outside of the school as well. I even started taking archery classes because my daughter was having so much fun! I cannot say enough about Master Lori and this Pa Kua school!
