I used to see Amy. I stopped after she was telling me I needed to move on from my divorce that was very fresh. She wasn't helping me get through the mental torment my ex had and was still causing. I think I had all of 5-8 sessions with her. Switched and found someone who was patient and helped me understand how bonded I was to my ex and the mental toll his behavior was having on me.
Things were fine until things got personal from therapist Amy. I was trying to express how i felt to get some help/ direction and whatever i said was taken personal on her end and she got started to be passive-aggressive while i was already upset. Never heard from her/ or her office staff and didn't get an apology. Ive never had an experience like that and ill never go back. I learned more on my own now than i did with her.
