Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival

Amelia Island chamber music festival continues to host top performers. We really enjoyed this afternoon‘s concert.

The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival is my favorite event on our beautiful island! I have been attending their concerts for 15 years and each one has provided a spectacular musical experience, with genres ranging from classical to bluegrass. We have heard Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Andre Watts, the Emerson Quartet, the Juilliard Quartet, the Dover Quartet, Mark and Maggie O’Connor and many, many more top artists. The Guarneri String Quartet chose to play its final concert before retirement at our festival. I am very proud to now be a board member and help support the mission of this wonderful organization.

We have attended two events recently, and we are overjoyed by the experiences. The outdoor venue, with the dunes and ocean beyond the massive Christmas tree, was an enchanting backdrop for the world-class performers. The champagne was welcoming and festive. It blows my mind that in our tiny corner of the world we can enjoy exceptional, award-winning performers in such an intimate setting. We are so grateful to the sponsors. Last night I was brought to tears by the mastery of your Grammy-winning performers, just feet away from their excellence. We enjoyed hearing contemporary composers as well as traditional ones. Additionally, everything was so well organized. The white roses and hydrangeas were the perfect touch. Thank you so much for making life better for all of us.

Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) organization that brings some seriously incredible musical talent to the island! The Festival usually runs from about December or January to June every year. As a community member, I have attended many concerts over the years and have always been impressed by the quality. As this organization's newly appointed Executive Director, I'm excited to watch the Festival grow its reach in the musical community of northeast Florida and beyond!
