⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Mobile Mechanic - Saved Me Hundreds! After being quoted nearly $950 by Honda of St. Augustine just to replace a rear caliper on my 2012 Civic (with Beaver Toyota giving a similar quote), I decided to look for a mobile mechanic in St. Augustine. Finding David was such a blessing, and really the best decision I could have made. David (a master mechanic) came to my house and right away went above and beyond. He purchased the parts himself to pass the savings on to me. When we found defective parts (through no fault of his), David stayed professional and patient. Despite the setback costing him a lot of time, he graciously came over again one evening after his regular job to make sure the repair was done properly. David may be a little rough around the edges, but he has a heart of gold - by the end of the job, he felt more like a friend than just a mechanic. Here's where David's expertise really showed. He found the root cause that both Honda and Toyota missed - a faulty wheel hub and bearing that was wobbling and causing the area to overheat. He replaced the wheel hub, installed a new disc, brake pads, and caliper, AND even replaced my front brake pads for me. The total cost for ALL this work (and parts) was LESS than what either dealership wanted to charge for just the caliper replacement. Not only did David save me hundreds of dollars, but he actually fixed the real problem that the dealerships completely overlooked. This is a really big deal for me, because my wife and I are on a pretty tight budget right now. David is a registered business owner who clearly takes pride in his work. His mobility, expertise, dedication, honesty, and fair pricing are exactly what you want in a mechanic. I cannot recommend his mobile mechanic services highly enough. It's a 10/10! If you're looking for quality, affordable auto repair from someone who actually cares about doing the job right, David is the right person! Neil H.
