We stopped by Alien Taco around 10:30 PM and were seated right away, which was a great start to the evening. It happened to be karaoke night, so the restaurant was lively and energetic, though it was also quite loud. The food was enjoyable. I ordered the Cabo Shrimp and Pork Belly with a side of plantains, while my friend had the Grilled Steak Taco Salad. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered a Prickly Pear Margarita, but I was served a classic margarita instead. While it wasn't what I expected, the drink itself was still good. One of the standout features of Alien Taco is its unique atmosphere. The space is filled with alien-themed décor, artwork, and posters throughout the restaurant, including the bathrooms. The theme is fun, quirky, and definitely memorable. Overall, Alien Taco offers tasty food, quick seating, and a distinctive dining experience. Just be prepared for a high-energy environment if you visit on karaoke night. Despite the margarita mix-up, I had a great experience and will definitely be back the next time I'm visiting Jacksonville.
We were recommended to come try the oxtails and grits and let me tell you 10/10!!! It’s southern style oxtails which I LOVE. Char was an awesome bartender and server. The margarita flight was so good. I loved the mango with jalapeño which was a huge shock to me. We will absolutely be back. The chef came out and talked to us to check to see how we liked it and everyone here is awesome. It’s a new favorite spot. PLUS it’s black-owned and Veteran-owned. You made my first experience at Alien Tacos such a good one—the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the VIBE were everything! I’m new to Jax, and this was officially my first taco spot here… and y’all definitely set the bar! 🤗 If you’re in Jacksonville, go check them out—and make sure you tell Char that her cousin Ashley sent you! 😂😘❤️ Truly an amazing experience. We’ve been coming to Alien Tacos for quite some time now, and every single visit has been consistently amazing. The food is always delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous enough that you never leave disappointed. Most recently, we came with three friends, and everything was fantastic as expected. Every dish was full of flavor, and everyone in our group loved their meal and drinks. A special shoutout to Miguel, who truly made the night even better. He was witty, fun, patient, attentive, and brought such great energy to our table. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and genuinely personable. He also told us about Bachata Fridays, and we’re already looking forward to coming back for that. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere every single time. Highly recommend!
The Best Alien Taco & Tequila place, In al of Jacksonville Florida. Our server " Yarizza ", was the best server ever. Awesome food, Tacos, and more.., atmosphere and Great customer service. Totally enjoyed everything about this establishment including the Deco !!! Loved everything about it, recommend it to everyone in Jacksonville Florida.
