If you don't know where to get your electronic serviced this is the place they're open 7 days a week Joel is amazing. I've never seen anybody diagnose something so fast I was complaining about stick drift on a PS5 controller he took a controller part in front of my face and less than 10 seconds showed me what the problem was and even told me if it was worth saving the controller. They can even do upgrades and sell if they have spare controllers to you. Thanks again for the upgrade stick drift is gone. Not only that the service the price and the quality of the work was amazing thank you so much for all those who don't know they've been open for 2 years.
Service was fairly straightforward overall. I ended up paying $86 for a repair that had been quoted at over $400 elsewhere—nearly the cost of replacing the device—so the value was excellent. The main issue was communication. During the repair process, a part that was not actually involved in the repair itself was misplaced, which delayed the return of my device. Unfortunately, I wasn’t proactively notified about the delay and had to reach out myself for updates. I also wasn’t given a clear answer regarding what the plan would be if the missing part couldn’t be replaced, which added some uncertainty to the situation. That aside, once work resumed, everything was completed within the timeframe promised. I did have to follow up to confirm the replacement part had arrived, but after that the repair was finished as expected. If not for the communication hiccups, this would easily have been a 5-star experience. The repair itself was done well, the price was more than fair, and I would absolutely use them again. I would just recommend being proactive about checking in on the status of your repair if any unexpected delays arise. I was allowed to test my device in store after it was returned to me. Everything works like a charm!
I'm honestly not sure how this place has any 5-star reviews. I dropped off a PC for repair on June 24th, and upon entering the shop, all you see are random PCs and PC components sitting on and around a table just a few feet from the front door. I thought to myself, there's no way these are customers' PCs because literally anyone could walk in and quickly grab anything they want, and there's no way the two guys that I've seen in the shop are going to stop you because they are in the back room working on repairs (no one is sitting in the front). Over two weeks later, I picked up my PC (details below but spoiler - they literally did nothing to diagnose my PC), and when I walked in to the shop, my PC is literally just sitting on the ground about 10 feet from the front door. THIS IS A $2,500 PC --- HOW THE HECK DO YOU JUST LEAVE IT SITTING THERE!!! If I was a thief, I could have just grabbed it and no one would even know or be able to stop me. Now to the experience I had with this company (or lack thereof). I dropped off my PC for repair on June 24th, and I was told that it would be about 24 hours for them to complete a diagnostic. 48 hours go by and I never heard from anyone, so I called and was told that they thought it was a CPU issue and that they were waiting on a new CPU to be delivered on June 29th or June 30th. They said they would contact me once they received and tested the new CPU. July 1st comes around, but no one ever contacted me. I called and spoke with them again, at which time they said that they thought they would have the diagnostic complete that day or the next. Again, no one ever followed up with me, so I call again on July 3rd, only to be told that they got my PC mixed up with someone else's, and they haven't even begun to diagnose my PC. This is obviously a day before the 4th of July, so they were closed the next day but promised an update by July 6th. I didn't receive a phone call until 7pm that day, at which time they asked for my PC pin number to access my windows account, and they said they might have an update before they close that night at 9pm. I waited until July 9th, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY UPDATE. I decided to just show to the shop to retrieve my PC and take my business elsewhere. The guy who was there didn't apologize or make any attempt to make things right. By the way, every single time I called, they acted confused as to which PC was mine, and I had to explain to them which one it was on every call, and they STILL got it confused with someone else's. They are extremely disorganized, and I was genuinely worried that they were going to somehow misplace or give my PC to someone else. I hate to be this harsh, but I met two of the guys who work there (can't remember their names), but this business appears to be two nerds who have zero communication or social skills, and a complete lack of business acumen. Horrible communication, they failed to set proper or realistic expectations, and they basically held my PC for 15 days without doing any extensive testing after they told me it would be 24 hours. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stopped by Ag Tech Repair with an aftermarket PS5 controller I found in a large lot. The team was super friendly and professional from the start they offer free diagnostics, which is amazing for anyone trying to troubleshoot gear without breaking the bank. The shop has a clean, organized, and modern atmosphere, and you can tell they really know their stuff. They quickly diagnosed my controller issue and explained everything clearly. Great customer service, fair pricing, and genuine people who actually care about helping you.
I bought a high end gaming desktop about 1.5 years ago, set it up and never touched the cables again. I recently moved and upon going to setup the computer, it would not boot. Took it to AG Tech Repair, they did their thing, and it was very affordable. However, got it home, same issue. Now you're thinking "Did they really fix it?" Well, they can't fix stupid. I was plugging a cable into the wrong HDMI port. AG Tech Repair answered my text questions, didn't brush me off and say it was fixed, and eventually had me send them a picture of the back of my desktop and quickly identified what my temporarily braindead self was doing. Long story short: They will do everything they can to diagnose and repair your issues AND they will go the extra mile all while charging far LESS than I would expect.
