Tom is the man that all of us aging surfer dudes go to after we’ve been twisted and thrashed during a surf session. Knowledgeable and efficient. He’s also a great reference for nutrition and can provide you with direction on health and wellness from a nutritional standpoint.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this chiropractor. The wait area and staff were quite pleasant, but my interaction with the chiropractor, Dr. Kiska, made me so uncomfortable I almost walked out. I went in because my lower back hurt from carrying around my newborn. Kiska was condescending to me and cut me off almost consistently as he asked background questions. He kept telling me I was wrong as I explained my health history. He told me my birth control was "carcinogenic" and told me I had made decisions that "in his opinion" put my newborn at health risk. I was in so much pain, that I held off from walking out because I really needed the adjustment. When he finally put me on the table, he kept asking about my neck. I kept correcting him, that it was my back that hurt, but he continued to act in a condescending manner and not listen to me. He treated my neck! I have never had a medical experience like this - and have never posted negatively on a site about a business because my general belief is that people sometimes just have bad days. There seemed to be satisfied customers in the waiting room who had good relationships with him, as well as a very positive review here, so I'm not sure what it was that made him so unprofessional towards me. I just feel compelled to warn people because I don't want anyone to feel as uncomfortable and upset as I did when I left. I went to a different chiropractor in Atlantic Beach the following week, got my actual back treated, and was a satisfied customer!

Dr. Kiska is the best. He is so knowledgeable and I love that he's a health nut. I get a full nutritional work up from Tom every year and his medical vitamins are the best! I love the convenient office and his massage chairs are excellent. I also like his hours!!

I have highly recommended Advanced Chiropractic for over five years now that I have been a patient. Dr. Kiska's knowledge and ability is like no other Chiropractor that I have been to, or heard of. He has helped me through car accident trauma, episodes as a result of, and (both massage therapy) and adjustments during a pregnancy. He takes the time to listen and he gets to know his patients, and he is even qualified to give medical advice on nutrition. His wife, Dr. Susan Shepler, also treats patients and has always been very friendly and knowledgable when I call and I am in the office. This office even offers medical massages at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
