Great selection of beers! They have a food truck right outside off to the parking lot! More parking in back, great service and love the food! They also offer private room rentals for parties! Check this place out you won’t regret it! Bartender was great and recommended different beers.
Aardwolf has a good selection of drinks. Mostly beer, with some seltzers and ciders. I told the bartender what I like and she picked a beer for me that fit my palette. It was a Belgian Whit. Excellent beer, mild and smooth with an earthy bread like flavor. Mouth is watering thinking about it. I am going to try their blue raspberry seltzer next time. The environment is cozy. It is dimly lit and comfortable inside. It can get a little loud in the tap room when there is a crowed. They have outdoor seating that tends to be a bit quieter. If you get hungry There is a food vendor outside with a small menu. I had a smash burger with fries. Burger was a good size, and had a lot of flavor. Better than I expected for $15 bar food. They are dog and child friendly. Several people had children with them, some with infants. The only con I can think of is you can smell the water treatment plant while outside. It isn't overbearing and certainly not Aardwolf's fault. But something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to things like that.
Great beer, great vibes and awesome people all in a cool 100 year old building. Taproom is clean and offers a welcoming vibe. They also have a food truck and a great spot for private events.
My partner and I live in the neighborhood and have been visiting Aardwolf pretty often for the last 10 years or so. We think this is the best overall brewery in Jacksonville - and there are are lot of breweries here! The indoor and outdoor spaces are all great, and the vibe is positive and chill. The beers are delicious and there is always lots of variety on tap, including seltzers, ciders, wines and NA options. In recent years they have added a food truck which has a simple but tasty menu and periodic specials. The staff is awesome. Periodically they will host special events - food competitions, mini markets, tattoo events, science education or crafting nights, etc. And did I mention, the beers are delicious? ;)
Aardwolf is a delightful brewery for relaxed hangouts and conversations. Their outdoor seating and cozy bar create a welcoming atmosphere. The brewery offers a diverse selection of beverages, allowing you to explore and savor different flavors. While not everything aligns with my taste, I must say, that their IPA's stands out as a personal favorite. Ample parking is available in the back, leading to the entrance through the outdoor seating area. The staff is friendly, and the bathrooms are generally well-maintained. Additionally, there's a food truck on site, making it convenient to grab a bite. So, grab a flight and immerse yourself in the local brewery experience.
