Super friendly, we held onto a bunch of scrap metal for way too long. We final had the courage to check this place out. Did not disappoint! Very knowledgeable and friendly people. We will be going back there again. They even sell stone in bulk. A decent return on scraps.
called ahead to see if they accepted my scrap, spent a lot of time loading it up only for them to turn their nose up at it. i specifically described what I had. the possible scam is hoping you will give it to them for free .
Very convenient location and nice people. Friendly and eager to help I have heard that other places pay more but you gotta drive all the way to Jacksonville and when considering gas money and time it all comes out in the wash.
Do your homework .I had 2 guys helping me clean my carport and yard area so we were collecting "scrap" stuff. One of the guys suggested taking some aluminum in that didn't have a current use. He was excited about how much it would bring. I received $.65 for misc and 89 lb of CLEAN aluminum (.20 / lb)=$18.65 total. Not worth the effort and they should be ashamed. 2 days later and I'm still miffed
Second time coming here. Have never had an issue with them. They are always cool and they crack me up. I'm not a professional scrapper, I just take stuff that is taking up space in my garage. They don't just do metal, they also do electronic waste. Everything is based on the weight of the material. I do like how it is local in yulee. It is clean for a scrap yard. It can get sandy on a windy day, so keep your windows up.
