A New Leaf Painting Contractors

Disappointing experience for exterior painting. One star for showing up on the scheduled day BUT aggravating to find out that the the paint that WE agreed on was not available and I had to go with something else literally at the last minute when the painters showed for the job. Later, I found out that I was given a lower tier paint. I agreed on SW Resilience which had the high moisture technology, and yet, I was given Superpaint which does not have it. There is also a difference in price per SW website. At the end of the painting job, it rained heavily. I could see the paint just washing out on the ground but I trusted the "experts". Initially, I called Thomas Drake regarding the wrong door paint, only one out of 2 trim boards was replaced, missed painting areas and others. Within a year, I've noticed the "50 year old caulk" cracked and separated, paint cracked on the sides by the garage, rusty nails everywhere. At the beginning, he had prompt responses but the last time I sent him an email in November did not get anybody to fix until April May. I am quite disappointed that I paid thousands of dollars to get an "expert job" just to get something less than average with lots of rusty nails. My original paint lasted more than 20 years with no rusty nails and it still looked very good but I just wanted to update it and get an "expert job" Awful! The first picture is what they fixed and the second one is what I see everywhere, again awful!

I could not be more pleased with the exterior paint job A New Leaf performed on my home. The crew, lead by Michelle, and her workers (Rusty, Dale, and Pearson) were absolutely amazing. I initially worked with Thomas as the consultant and person who came to my house to discuss both the interior and exterior paint projects. He was great to work with, knew his info, made great suggestions, and checked back on any questions I had before I decided to use New Leaf Painting to do the job. When the projects started I worked with Billy and his crew. They were great to work with. They were on time, professional, well mannered. They set up in the garage and I was amazed at how quickly they removed old wallpaper and prepped the rooms for painting. They checked with me to make sure I was good as I was working from home. The interior turned out great. They then tackled the outside. I needed some repair work on my chimney and we discussed additional work they found after tearing off old parts. They made sure I was ok with what needed to be done. The same thing happened by my front door. Then I wanted my front door stained but they convinced me I would be unhappy with the results so we went to plan B and painted the door the same color as the shutters and it turned out great. I had friends over Labor Day Weekend and they were impressed with how well the house looked. All the workers put in plenty of hours, were courteous, cleaned up and generally went the extra mile on my projects. I appreciated the hard work and attention to detail. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the results of both the interior and exterior paint projects. Thanks New Leaf.
