As a returning resident, I can confidently say 33 East is a true gem! I love being so close to the beach while paying a reasonable rent, and the apartment finishes are absolutely charming. Yes, the community is older, but the property manager, Cheyenne, does an incredible job bringing out the best in it through thoughtful renovations and attention to detail. One thing that really stood out to me happened before I moved in. During my tour, I noticed the apartment had a strong incense smell. It didn’t bother me enough to complain. I just mentioned it as an observation. To my surprise, the team actually investigated the cause, resolved the issue, and by the time I moved in, the smell was completely gone. That level of proactivity meant a lot to me. They didn’t wait for me to make it a problem, they took ownership and fixed it anyway. Another reason I felt confident returning is the maintenance team. During my previous time living here, they were always on top of everything. They’re hardworking, honest, and always greet you with a smile and a friendly hello. Those little interactions make a big difference. It genuinely feels like you’re living in a community, not just in an apartment complex where you’re another resident on a spreadsheet. To me, that’s what truly matters when choosing a place to live. Luxury finishes, incentives, and amenities are nice, but the office staff and maintenance team make all the difference. Are they responsive when something comes up? Do they take initiative to prevent issues before they become problems? That takes genuine care and strong leadership. From my experience so far, 33 East is led by an exceptional team. Cheyenne has created a culture of excellence, and Adrianna and Roger have been wonderful to work with as well. It’s clear they care about their residents and take pride in the community. If you’re considering moving here, I definitely recommend taking the time to tour 33 East. I’m so glad I chose to come back!!
It all started off great when I moved in in April of 2025. Joshua and Alice were both amazing and helpful. The maintenance staff was absolutely amazing as well. All went downhill when they changed all the staff in the leasing office. I had put written notice and and come the month I was suppose to move out somehow it hadn’t got out into the computer and that person had left and everything was thrown away, including my written notice. Luckily I had a paper trail of the interaction and I will say they honored it, but again nothing was put in the system so I kept getting notes in my door saying I owed money. Everyone I talked to had zero clue when they looked at my account and everyone I seemed to talk to “put a note” in my account. Nothing was prorated for me not living there the last month I was there and I got ZERO answers all month as I’m emailing the leasing manager Cheyenne and also talked to Adrianna. Neither one could give me any answers. Finally in the last week I was there I talked to Carol Ann and she was able to get to the bottom of it. And it was an easy answer at that, so had I just been told that all the other times I had been to the office from all 5 people I talked to it wouldn’t be a sour ending to my experience at 33 East. You would think that a leasing manager would be able to answer emails….but no too busy posting videos on Facebook. So if you move here, I advise do it at your own risk and to document everything when it comes to moving out.
super chill neighborhood, quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful trees 🌳 spacious apartment layouts and super helpful and friendly staff✨ happy to call this my first home i rented on my own 🥰🥰
I’ve been here for 3 Years Great place all the maintenance guys here care and the property is gorgeous. property is well maintained. So close to the ocean, you can feel the breeze on the property practically across the street from Hannah Park and I love the new manager, Cheyenne. She gets all the maintenance calls done in a timely manner. She picks up bagels or coffee to hand out in the mornings or orders food trucks for us. Very thoughtful. Very comfortable. I’ll stay another year. Thanks, to everyone here.
This is, without question, the most disorganized and poorly managed apartment community I have ever lived in. We moved out of 33 East over four months ago and are still dealing with unresolved billing issues and a complete lack of communication from management. After move-out, we were charged $440 for two bathtubs that had ongoing maintenance issues throughout our tenancy. During our time there, I submitted multiple maintenance requests asking for the tubs to be caulked and reglazed due to rust and mold. Maintenance staff acknowledged that the tubs needed repair, but I was pregnant at the time, had both a dog and a cat, and was told the work would require us to be out of the apartment for approximately eight hours. Unfortunately, that was not feasible. During our move-out walkthrough, I was specifically told—and shown on the paperwork—which was signed by both myself and the manager, that we would not be charged for the condition of the tubs. Despite that assurance, a $440 charge was later added to our account. For months, I have attempted to resolve this issue through emails, phone calls, and even two in-person visits to the office. The property manager, Cheyenne, is never available and has never returned any of my calls or messages. Meanwhile, we continue to receive bills for an alleged remaining balance, despite having a prepaid amount on file that should have covered any legitimate charges. At one point, our resident portal even showed a $0 balance, making these additional charges even more confusing. The most frustrating part of this entire experience has been the complete lack of communication. I have emailed, called, and left multiple messages with both the office and assistant manager and have never received a response. Former residents should not have to spend months chasing down basic information about their accounts. Our issues didn’t start after move-out. While living there, we dealt with ongoing maintenance problems involving aging appliances that were never properly addressed. We also experienced recurring cockroach and ant infestations. Although the property advertises itself as a gated community, the gate was nonfunctional for nearly the entire two years we lived there, and it was common to see non-residents and homeless individuals walking through the property. To make matters even more stressful, I had a newborn baby during this time, and dealing with months of unanswered questions, disputed charges, and constant billing notices has created unnecessary stress. If you’re considering renting here, document everything, keep copies of all communications, and be prepared to follow up relentlessly. The lack of responsiveness, unresolved maintenance concerns, and post move-out billing issues have been incredibly disappointing and demonstrate a clear disregard for residents both during and after their tenancy.
