Paid $4,000 to have my things destroyed. Complete nightmare. I hesitated to trust my only possessions to an unknown moving company, but Zippy Hell representative Gregory Forrester assured me that they would carefully wrap and cushion my items for a cross-country move. He insisted they were professionals that Zippy Shell had worked with before, and that they regularly packed for overseas moves. He couldn't have been more wrong. The movers used zero common sense. A few items were partially wrapped loosely with paper, no bubble wrap or plastic or moving blankets. Nothing was cushioned at all. Completely ineffective. Everything had been tossed carelessly into the pod as if it were a dumpster headed for the landfill. Everything arrived scratched, scuffed, beat up, filthy and, in some cases, completely destroyed. Everything had been in like-new condition at the start of the move, neatly organized in a very clean, climate-controlled storage unit. This was everything I’d intentionally saved from my house and life in Oregon. If these were things I didn't care about, I wouldn't have paid Zippy Shell $4,000 to have them shipped, after paying to store them for five years. I'm devastated to have lost these things, some of which had great sentimental value to me. If I'd known the condition they’d arrive in, I would have flown out to drive them across the country myself. Use Zippy Shell only if you’re shipping something absolutely indestructible, or if you genuinely don’t care what condition it arrives in.

I have change the rating from 3 starts to 5. After Zippy saw my original review, they immediately contacted me and have resolved the charges I was not happy about. That is outstanding customer service!!! [Original Review]Service was great and very efficient. The container arrived on time - was also picked up on time. But..... BE CAREFUL!!! I used this service to do a move of a small container from Florida to Massachusetts. To load and unload the contents, only take about 2 hours each. I was charged a $200 monthly rental!! Crazy - the entire move took just a few days. Then they added on a fuel surcharge $200. They con you. I asked customer service and they are refusing to remove these charges. DON'T USE THESE GUYS - There are hidden charges they do not tell you about. Disapointed and frustrated
Zippy Shell's moving service is a breath of fresh air in the often stressful process of moving. Their team's commitment to excellence, reliability, and friendly service exceeded my expectations.
Save yourself from this experience. Overpromising and under-delivering. My units were scheduled to be picked up on the 19th. Two days later, they were still in my driveway. The 8-10 business day delivery of my pods were impacted and pushed back until AFTER the July 4th holiday. Customer service agents, sales reps and managers had different explanations, different communications and different timelines. The compensation for this experience was $100 on a $6k order. Not acceptable by any standard. Go with a more reputable organization.
