I am so incredibly thankful that the Lord led me to the Women’s Refuge. I graduated from the program, but what I’m most grateful for is everything I gained along the way. This place poured into me, believed in me, encouraged me, and helped me become the person I am today. I often say, “If it weren’t for the Refuge, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” But if it weren’t for God giving me the time and opportunity to be at the Women’s Refuge, I wouldn’t have had the space to slow down, sit still, and truly dig deep into things I couldn’t work through on my own. So much of what I learned through the Refuge is still a part of me and continues to guide me today. It is such a blessing to watch the work being done with the new ladies coming into the program and see them receive the same hope, love, encouragement, and support that meant so much to me. I am so thankful for the director and every person who is a part of the Women’s Refuge. I will always recommend this place—not just as a program, but as a place of healing, hope, and love. I will forever be grateful that God gave me the time to be here and used this place to help shape the woman I am today. ❤️
This is an Amazing, Biblical outreach organization designed to give women a Godly home while they recover from the influence of the world. If you are a Christian following Jesus and looking to make a difference in this world and eternity, you definitely need to check them out. I did, and these ladies are my heart!
It is a strict, Faith based ministry/program that has a high success rate of Women graduating the ministry/program with a successful outcome for the Lord

The Women’s Refuge of St John’s County has been an answer to prayer in so many ways for my daughter. Since completing the Christ centered program she has grown spiritually and and has been freed from previous bad choices and habits. The love & guidance from the executive director Debby & house Mom Cookie, has made all the difference in my daughter’s life and healing. She set up for success and has a very bright future ahead of her. She is learning to fully rely on Gods protection, grace, and provision. A second chance is what she needed & was given, to turn her life around and see her value as a child of God. Linda Gilmore
