Women's Center of Jacksonville

I had a lot of clothes brand new’ and handbags so I decided to google this place and took my items to them I pray that the women receive everything!

I cannot say enough positive things about this organization! I finished my EMDR sessions back in the summer of this year and I wish I could have continued going but I understand why the organization cannot provide longer services. My interactions with all staff were warm and welcoming. Especially Lisa at the front desk, I miss seeing her smiling face! I truly felt safe, seen, heard when I was there. My counselor, Breanna, gave me the tools and encouragement to work through the anxiety, depression, and self loathing that was weighing me down. I am eternally grateful for how much she has helped and taught me. I have never been able to connect genuinely with a mental health professional until her. She taught me grounding exercises, she gave me book recommendations that have changed my life, and some homework every now and then that helped me comprehend the therapy. The staff at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville are real life angels doing amazing work for our community.

I really feel like the Women who worm here, want to be there. They are compassionate, non-judgmental and loving. Its changed my life. Ive been in recovery for 5 years and I've never felt shame or judgment because if it.. its been another tool to add to my tool box! If you are doing with unresolved trauma and can't move forward in life because of it, then this place is for you!
