I have pcos (periods every 3-6 months instead of monthly so I don’t ovulate as much) so when we wanted to start trying for a kid, went to the doctor to get medication to help my ovulation. This doctor gave me medication that did the opposite. Lectrozole 2.5 mg is the LEAST likely mg to get you pregnant. If it doesn’t work in first 3 months you are supposed to change the dosage or method or it will BLOCK you from getting pregnant. My doctor wasn’t even knowledgeable enough to look up this fact on google. He kept me on it for twice as long until I made it clear I wanted the meds changed because it was obvious they weren’t working and than him telling me he couldn’t change it any way, I’d have to go to a specialist which is exactly what I thought he was, a fertility specialist which is the only reason I went to him in the first place at the “women’s care” doctor. Would have been nice to know the first appointment if it didn’t work in the first couple months it probably wouldn’t work at all or that I would have to go a different specialist for legit results but him leaving those important details out only blocked me from pregnancy for a longer period of time. And than when he did recommend a specialist the “The Brown fertility clinic” it is a well known SCAMMING company based on reviews, people telling me in person who have gone to them and gotten failed results, and calling them myself and them trying to make me pay more than $300 to even ask about the process and how it works in a consultation. So I don’t know why this place has over a 4 star rating, when I went here for one thing that all they did was either try to stall me or scam me on? If they told me the first appointment how the medication accurately worked, that they were not the doctors trained to track real fertility analysis, and that they didn’t recommend a scamming company than I would understand higher reviews but nothing about this interaction felt professional or gave any positive results. If they weren’t the right doctor for this, they should have told me the first appointment or made it clear what they couldn’t do in the least so I had a better idea of all my options. Next time a doctor tells you something, check google reviews and people’s actual experiences because you can’t always trust a doctors word, sometimes you can learn more from hearing it from people who have actually gone through this and can give you a better idea of what results to most likely expect based on the same treatment of people with similar conditions and experiences.

We love Women’s Care, and this location (Nocatee) is our favorite. The facility is welcoming and well-maintained, and both the providers and staff are exceptionally kind and attentive. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a dedicated team of doctors who have cared for me and helped bring our little miracles into the world. Highly recommend.

The front office staff were very unprofessional and came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. They did not seem to enjoy their roles, and the level of customer service provided was disappointing. A more positive and professional attitude would greatly improve the overall experience.
