I’ve been to this ER more times than I can count over the last eight years, at least five visits just for myself or my little one, and every time they have taken such good care of us. I’ve come in for things like ruptured kidney cysts since I have PKD, severe migraines, and even sepsis after giving birth. Each visit has been met with kindness and professionalism. Once back in the treatment area, I’m usually there for around five hours. The longest I have ever been here was 24 hours while waiting for a transport to a hospital that could better handle my needs. Even though a bed wasn’t available right away, the staff still kept a close eye on me and made sure I was comfortable and check in on the entire time. I’ve only had one doctor who wasn’t familiar with PKD, but every other provider has been excellent. One doctor who treated my little one worked so hard to be a comfort in a very stressful moment, and I will always be grateful for that. The people who work here really do have a thankless job. No one walks into the ER on a good day, yet this team continues to show up with patience, compassion, and genuine care. They have walked me through some of the hardest health challenges I’ve faced. This ER has been our family’s preferred choice over the years, and we’ve never had a truly horrible experience, all things considered when going to the ER. The only time I had an unusually long wait time was simply because they were extremely busy and dealing with limited options for transfer, which is completely understandable in emergency care. I’m truly grateful for this team and everything they’ve done for my family.
I brought my son to the wolfsons childrens hospital ER at around 9:30 am in the morning to be seen. Everyone was very nice and it was very clean so I was happy in the choice to bring my son to this ER. But no one ever called us to the back after being intially triaged. I finally just left with my son at 130 pm after seeing multiple geriatric and middle aged patients who came in hours after us be taken to the back ahead of us. Why do you even advertise yourself as a pediatric ER if you take all patients? There is no point in saying your pediatric. Now I have wasted half the day and haven't had my son seen yet so I'll have to go and find some other place to take him and hope that he can be seen in timely manner somewhere else. Very disappointed in this ER as I had heard so many good things.
I brought my infant son in to the hospital for the first time, I had such bad anxiety and was so worried about my baby. The staff took amazing care of us and they were so good and so sweet to my baby. I am so grateful to have had this as my first experience bringing my child to an emergency room. The care they provided eased my mind so much. I would definitely recommend going here if you have a medical emergency.
Worst hospital I’ve ever been too, they have made me wait for 4 hours with my 4 month old. still haven’t figure out what’s wrong with my older daughter that we came here for in the first place. They are never in no rush or hurry EVER. We are on their time, and it definitely shows. They were trying to RESTICK my 4 year old daughters IV back into her as well after it was DONE WRONG the first time. If the person that did it, would have did it right it wouldn’t have fell out. Then they got MISS PRISSY PANTS AT THE FRONT W THE BLACK HAIR, that’s rude to people while walking in. doesn’t know how to give directions and then get mad at the patient. Then they got a whole unorganized security unit in the front , got security guards that don’t know what they are doing , for whatever reason like this a damn court house or some. Get it together . I will never be back so don’t worry ab it !!!!!
Don’t bring your kids here. Just drive downtown. They can’t admit patients and will hit you with a 2500 bill to transport your kid downtown. Skip that step and just go downtown.
