We were on holiday with our 3-year-old grandson when he woke up with a barking cough and difficulty breathing. The hotel immediately directed us to Baptist. As grandparents we did not have insurance cards for him-no problem-they treated him first and worked with mom electronically once he was feeling better. We had no wait and were thru registration then ushered to triage quickly. The nurses, respiratory therapist, doctor and admin team were all friendly, compassionate and efficient. We left with a prescription, discharge instructions and a good treatment plan. I hope we won’t need you again but am glad they are available should the need arrive.
Unfortunately due to my sons rare brain condition, at a young age, we have to travel from Tampa up here. The neurosurgeon told us, via phone, to come to THEIR ER at 1pm, knowing after all driving and getting stuff together it would be 7pm that we get there. They know MRI and admit to PICU, through the ER. It is midnight and still waiting in ghe ER. If you are made aware at hours before arrival why take 5hrs to do labs and xray and still not admit yet.... slowest ER ever.
DR P KOUL MD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS MY SON HAS HAD EAR DRAINAGE ALONG WITH SMELLY EAR FOR OVER 2 months first thing he said when he came in was my son was not in pain if he is watching tv prescribed him amoxicillin again after letting him know that he took it. If something happens to my son, it’s on this doctor for not wanting to treat him correctly, not even thinking to culture his ear to see if he had bacteria claim it wasn’t an infection but he’s been draining for over two months straight. PLEASE REPORT THIS DOCTOR
All I can said! 7 hours in the hospital (transfer from Town center to main hospital ER) due to my daughter having an accident at school! Keep in mind she has autism! Explain them her problems! Guess what not real help from anyone and even attitudes 🥴While I’m writing this post I still waiting! With a kids that needs stitches, is extremely tired and hungry! I wish we can leave negative reviews!
