This is my daughter and I's go-to take-out Chinese spot and it's worth it every time to make the 25 minute drive from our house! You can see the woks in the kitchen as you approach the counter and they make everything to-order. And the food is always piping hot and consistently fresh every time. My daughter and I always dine in. I tell people that it is a solid, straightforward Chinese takeout place where the food comes out in a timely manner and is fresh and hot. Aesthetics are definitely not their priority, and I really could care less about that as long as it's clean… And this place is very clean. The restaurant is a family run business-grandma included- and sometimes you can see their children either helping out or killing time on their tablets at one of the tables. And the family is so sweet! In my last visit, I took my daughter as well as a couple other kids who were friends with my daughter. They didn't have enough water bottles that were cold, and sent one of their kids with cups to go get ice so we had some ice water. Because the place is small and no-frills, I get concerned about their ability to stay in business. I really hope more people patronize them and give them a chance. You can't beat good people and good food and a straightforward business.
Best TAKE OUT classic Chinese food in Ponte Vedra, period. Family business who really put their best into making fast, delicious food (from grandparents to grandkids). Extensive menu with lunch and dinner options. Do yourself a favor and call to place your order on the ride to the store as it will be ready in 10min! Pro tip: You can request levels of spice/heat to your liking.
This place was really good when it re-opened a few years ago. No, the food is really meh. I just ordered roast pork and broccoli, which is pretty basic for a Chinese place. The brocolli was undercooked and the pork was like rubber. To be fair, I also got a hot and sour soup that was decent. PV is in real need of a good Chinese takeout place.
Wok-N-Roll has become one of the my favorite go to lunch spots! Not only is the food delicious but the staff is friendly and very attentive. I left my wallet outside in there sitting area once and I did not realize until the next day but I called and they had kept it safe for me! I am so grateful for the staff there! They Rock 🙂!
I am a big dude and I've always been able to eat just about anything...but wow...not this. The chicken was NOT chicken. It was gelatinous substance that tbh, had a decent taste but I did not eat it after the second bite when I saw it wasn't chicken. Veggies were good cause they were truly veggies. But I won't be coming here again.
