Had two trash cans at the curb, these lazy individuals emptied one but not the other. I understand they might be busy. If only I could find a company who specialized in “picking up trash” I might have someone to empty my garbage can when I put it by the street.
When I deal with WM customer support it's usually to complain about something related to my yard or home trash pickup. This morning was no different. I called to say that my yard trash had not been handled satisfactorily. I spoke with Lindsey and explained that my pile was close to the size limit (5 CF), but that about half of that was not picked up due to being over 6 inches in diameter. The tag that was left behind, explained that. That was my mistake and I understood why it wasn't picked up. My complaint was that there was a lot of branches and wood well under 6 inches in diameter that was left behind. Lindsey was absolutely wonderful (not uncommon for WM customer service folks). WM hires good people in customer service. The difference here was that after being told that I could expect someone to come out to pickup the remainder of my pile that was under 6 inches, within 24 hours, I had someone out within the hour and they took EVERYTHING!! There was a lot of stuff over 6 inches and they didn't have to do that. That was far above and beyond my expectation and wasn't necessary, but it was so, so, so appreciated. Lindsey, you are an ABSOLUTE GEM and I hope hear how appreciative I was. WM, thank you for your quick response and the over and above service this morning and thank you for hiring outstanding folks like Lindsey to deal with frustrated customers. My garbage can was left in the road, literally. Thank goodness my daughter left after me this morning. My garbage can was on the corner of my driveway and should be placed back and/or near. Come on guys, I know you've got routes to run, but stop being so lazy. Nothing worse than a half a** person on their job!!
Our roads in the community are narrow so containers in the road makes for an obstacle course. Although our recycle was three-quarters full, found several of our recycle had missed the target and ended up on the roadway. Our neighbors container after being dumped was set down on a bag of trash that also missed the intended target. Still have issue that we mentioned before that our trash containers are returned and either balance at the edge of the road/sidewalk or on the road. Not where it was originally placed for pickup. All this may be due to going too fast and not letting the containers to empty fully before returning them to the ground. OR too many homes to collect from and not enough time in a day to catch all the trash/recycle bins per route. (or too few staff and trucks). Either way, there is an isssue that needs a little more attention to remedy.
Started out with one price and before I knew it ended up with an increase. Had them on autopay so did not catch the increase right away. When I called to complain they said I was past the time of lodging a complaint re said price increase so NO they would not do ANYTHING about it!! Would never use again. Who tells someone you didn’t call us in time to avoid a higher price so keep paying it??? UNBELIEVABLE
