All things considered (the drought), the course is in good condition. Most fairways are very hard, tee boxes are mostly in good condition with two or three that need a little more love, but it is suffering drought conditions. Can be hard to land a ball with spin on the greens due to the conditions. Overall the layout is solid. Lots of water hazards and challenging deep bunkers protect most of the greens. The staff was also quite friendly and overall helpful! I could see how delays may occur on the course as we were a three some and caught up to a mixed 4 some that went out ahead of us. It would be nice if more golfers had etiquette to wave you through, but most don’t (to no fault of the course and staff). Definitely will go back and try to better my score next time!
We had a fantastic time at Windsor Parke Golf Club. The layout is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is top-notch. With a little more attention to the greens to get them in peak condition, this place would be unbeatable. Definitely looking forward to our next round!
I really do love this course. Very challenging, and majrs you pay for errant shots. Suitable for every level of player. Rates are very reasonable, and the staff are all very nice and courteous. The reason for just 4 stars is that there are a couple of greens that are sub par, but they are working hard to get them up to snuff. The other minor issue is the chipping green being rather ragged, and the bunker adjacent to it needs attention.
The course was in great shape. The tees, fairway and greens grasses were lush and full. The course was challenging from the white tees for my handicap. The holes are challenging but fun to play. Great experience. Green fees were $72 and a little higher than other similar courses we play.
Solid course. Generally well maintained. Tee boxes and greens looked pretty good when I just played. Would definitely recommend!
