While replacing the roof on my mom's house one of the roofers stepped on the porch roof which created a dip that leaks water everywhere (can't sit on the porch during a storm anymore and the wood will rot faster). Mom called Whitton over to look at it and he refused to take any responsibility. This all occurred a while back but I only just heard about it and my mom doesn't review anything so I'm doing it for her. Whitton also replaced my roof and a good bit of the old shingles and trash like that ended up in my attic instead of their dumpster, putting weight on the drywall of my ceiling which could eventually cause it to sag. Otherwise they did a great job on both houses.
We had whitten roofing put a new roof on ,not one of the workers spoke English. Had nothing but problems . Now some of the shingles are curling .called them 4 times , no one called back . The new roof is a year old , calling another roofer to come look at it
When a roofing company stands behind its work, even with a new owner, and even after the five year warranty has long expired, you know you have a true gem. Tom Whitton has every reason to be exceptionally proud of his son, James Whitton, who made this happen when our chert chimney began to leak during heavy rains. James made multiple trips to our home to diagnose and fix the leaks, and overall is a very impressive and conscientious young man who truly cares about his family business's' reputation. I strongly recommend Whitton Roofing to anyone looking for a roofing contractor that "stands by their work".
Super stars. Whitton Roofing was the only company that took my phone call on the week of the 4th of July. I had a small job that other companies would not take. I had a puncture in my roof from a tree limb letting rain in. James showed up early for the appointment, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in no time at a fair price. Look no further for your roofing needs.
Although slow in responding, once one of the owners contacted me, things began to move more quickly. James was professional and efficient, all questions were answered, and a contract has been signed. Unfortunately, the earliest work will be started is March of next year. We'll continue to monitor the roof leak into the guest bedroom and hope for no serious storms. This is upgrading our initial review.
