This place is fantastic. We love our new Live Oak home! Live Oak does not cut corners like the other manufacturers have started doing. They stick with solid construction practices and the service after the sale has been impressive. Casey and Jared listened to our wants and needs and made it happen. We could not have asked for a better place to purchase. They both are honest and straight forward. We have been in our home for over a month now and everything has happened just the way they said it would. Home buying is tough, but Casey and Jared made it much easier and handled our concerns/fears with grace.
Late Post: My husband and I visited the WF of Macclenny last year, around March, when we decided to purchase our home. We rushed into Dylan Johnson's office, sat down, and boldly stated: "We're here to purchase our home." Poor Dylan was actually on his way home, but he was very pleasant and kind. He sat back in his chair, gave us the paperwork to get started, and began the process the very next day. Dylan was super easy to work with and get in contact with. He kept us informed of any changes that came up during our home-buying process and didn't mind listening to my frustrations (lol), often having an immediate solution, or getting back with us within a reasonable time with an answer. This was a wonderful first experience for my husband and I. God led us to WF and to Dylan at that time. We had been there before, just browsing, and found things we loved, but it wasn't the time to buy. God was aligning things, and we are thankful for the alignment. I would recommend Dylan Johnson for a great purchasing experience. He was an absolute joy to work with. Blessings and Favor to you all, The Jacksons' 2026 Horizon
Dylan was wonderful to work with in guiding me through the new home buying process! He is knowledgeable, professional, and answered all my questions thoroughly. His expertise and willingness to help made such a difference. Highly recommend working with Dylan!
We bought our first home from Wayne Frier, with the help of our AMAZING salesman Bret!! He took us under his wing as soon as we stepped foot in the door and has been nothing but amazing through the entire process. He gave us so much advice and made sure this whole experience was smooth for us. He stayed in contact and answered any questions i had, even on his days off. I’m so grateful for him and i truly don’t think it would have been possible and definitely not as enjoyable of a process without him.
Formal Review: Severe Issues with Home Purchase and Unfulfilled Repairs Date of Purchase: 2024 Date of Delivery: Approximately February 2025 Current Status: Home Uninhabitable This review details a profoundly negative experience regarding the purchase of a trade-in home in 2024, which came with explicit promises of all necessary repairs being completed prior to occupancy. Despite these assurances, the company has failed to honor its commitments, leading to significant financial burden and distress. Upon purchase, we were pressured to secure all necessary permits for the home's relocation to our property, with the understanding that repairs would commence thereafter. This process has since devolved into a protracted nightmare. The company received full payment for the home but has demonstrated a complete disregard for its word and our well-being. Key Issues and Timeline: Inconsistent Work & Communication: Repair crews would appear for a single day and then fail to return for extended periods. Communication has been consistently poor and misleading. We were falsely informed that a key individual responsible for the repairs had been terminated, only to discover this was untrue. Failed Supervisory Promises: A meeting with the supervisor on the property resulted in promises to order all necessary supplies and complete the work promptly. These promises were never fulfilled, despite constant communication and text message exchanges on our part to follow up. Abrupt Cessation of Work: As of today, we received a text message stating that the company will no longer proceed with repairs unless we agree to a meeting with "Jared." This ultimatum comes after months of unaddressed issues. Severe Financial and Personal Impact: Due to the home's uninhabitable condition, our insurance policy has been canceled. The company, specifically "Jared," appears indifferent to this critical issue, seemingly prioritizing payment received over customer welfare. We have been paying a mortgage on an uninhabitable home since March 2025 and are simultaneously incurring rent expenses, resulting in a substantial and unjustifiable financial strain. Actions Being Taken: We are filing a formal complaint with the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services today and will be contacting First Coast News to expose these egregious business practices. Conclusion: This experience has been nothing short of devastating. The company's repeated failures, broken promises, and lack of accountability have left us in an untenable situation, paying for a home we cannot inhabit. We strongly advise extreme caution to anyone considering doing business with this entity. As soon as I can figure out how, I will post pics from day 1 to now
