I went here yesterday for my birthday and this place is the best nail salon I have been to in years.. Their prices are reasonable, and their pedicures are A1. The customer Service is incredible. All of the ladies are engaging and talkative! 10/10 I highly recommend.

Easily the best nail shop I have been to in Jacksonville. I stop in for a pedicure from time to time. My wife always brags about long her nails last after she visits and that the quality of work is on ANOTHER LEVEL! Thank you to Vannalin and her entire team for always being consistent, timely and professional:)
Things I liked: welcoming, clearly have regulars they know and interact with beautifully, they offer a very basic pedicure for $20, nail tech listened to me and did just what I requested (filing instead of trimming one nail on each foot- they look too short compared to the others, and a more gentle massage), on the Saturday before Easter I was able to get in immediately. Things I didn't love: not getting feet into water before cutting nails (I love that soak and relaxation time), paid $5 more for the same package than at my normal nail spa, foot rests were not very comfortable, didn't pull back my skin so polish didnt go all the way to the edge if nail, 1 mildly warm towel that was layed over both legs instead using 2 very warm towels so both legs are wrapped individually.
I scheduled a 9:00am appointment with the manager the day before and confirmed the time twice. I arrived exactly at 9:00am, but the salon was locked and no one answered when I knocked. I waited about 10 minutes, assumed there may have been confusion about the time, and returned at 10:00am thinking perhaps the appointment had mistakenly been noted for then instead. When I returned, the salon was full and I was told I had “missed” my 9:00am appointment and that they could no longer do my nails. I explained that I had arrived on time and the salon was closed. The manager initially insisted she had been there, but after I explained that I had stood outside for about 10 minutes with no response, she then said there had been “a lot of traffic” and mentioned that she had called me. I later checked my phone records and saw the only call from the salon came at 9:14am — after my scheduled appointment time. I was eventually offered a 30-minute wait, but by that point the interaction already felt dismissive and unprofessional. I left disappointed. A simple apology and better communication would have completely changed the experience.
My mother and I always include a trip to VP nails during our mother/daughter days! We get pedicures and everyone there is so welcoming and helpful! Niny and Sofie usually take care of us, and they are amazing! My mother is older and her toes need special attention. Sofia is so patient and thorough! We really appreciate everything they do for us! Everything is very clean and run professionally. Highly recommend!!!!
