If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with heart and history, Vito’s is truly one of a kind. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful decor that celebrates generations of family tradition. The photos and personal touches throughout the restaurant make it feel warm, welcoming, and genuinely special — like you’re being invited into someone’s home rather than just dining out. The food is just as memorable as the atmosphere. The Vito’s Salad is an absolute must — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Alla Rosa is rich, comforting, and full of authentic Italian taste that keeps you coming back for another bite. And you cannot skip a side of their meatballs — tender, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made from a cherished family recipe. To top it all off, treat yourself to a limoncello for dessert. It’s the perfect bright, refreshing finish to an incredible meal. Vito’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience rooted in tradition, family, and truly outstanding food. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹✨
Vito’s — Where Generations Gather Some restaurants serve dinner. Others become part of the story of your life. Vito’s is that place for us. For years upon years, we have gathered around these tables—breaking bread, celebrating life, marking milestones and bringing together friends who became family. Different seasons. Different celebrations. Generations around the same table. And somehow, every time, it still feels special. There are chef visits to the table. Handshakes that become conversations. Stories exchanged between courses. Laughter traveling from one end of the table to the other. Someone reaching across for another bite. Someone remembering the last time we were all here. That is what Vito’s understands so beautifully: a great restaurant doesn’t simply feed people. It gathers them. Of course, the food keeps us coming back. Chicken piccata bright with lemon, butter and capers. Pasta covered in a rich, comforting meat sauce. Beautifully prepared steaks, roasted vegetables and potatoes. Plates passed around because everyone needs to taste what everyone else ordered. But there is another ingredient here—one you won’t find written on the menu. Love. You feel it when Chef comes out of the kitchen and visits the table. You feel it in the warmth of the room and the care behind the food. You feel it looking around and realizing that the people sitting beside you today are becoming part of a tradition they’ll remember tomorrow. That’s what makes a locally owned restaurant something more. It becomes part of a family’s geography. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Sunday dinners. Homecomings. Celebrations for no particular reason other than everyone happened to be together. Years pass. Children grow. Families change. Friends become family. And somehow, there are places that remain. Vito’s is one of ours. So yes, come for the food. It is wonderful. But stay long enough to understand what has kept families returning for generations. The laughter. The stories. The chef stopping by the table. The familiar plates arriving. The people you love sitting within arm’s reach. Because eventually you realize the meal was never just the meal. It was the table. It was the people. It was the love. It was the legacy. And at Vito’s, that love and warmth are delivered in every single bite. Find the good. Support local. Repeat. ★★★★★ — for the food, the family, and all the years around the table. Thank you.
Ordered the Grilled Chicken Primavera. The Pasta and veggies were good. The chicken was definitely NOT grilled and tasted leftover. Brought it to the attention of the server who did let the kitchen know and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Also of note, we were there on a Tuesday at 5:30, they are closed on Monday… floor under our table had definitely not been vacuumed, window sill has food crumbs and blinds were very dusty!
We had a great experience here. Our server was Alana and she was great. What a great place with a great vibe. We loved the piano. Very nice, our food and service was exceptional. The manager/owner even came out to chat with us. I highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.
Well this is one of the three sisters who run Italian Restaurants in Jacksonville Florida. One near 295, another off Phillips and Vito's. Of the three Vito's is the best of all three that are 5 ⭐ offerings. Let's stay with Vito's. Getting into the somewhat limited parking area can be a challenge but well worth the effort. Our party of seven made reservations, which we strongly recommend you do. Service and hospitality were great with great folks looking like they enjoyed working there. We ordered drinks, all were perfect. Appetizers of Calamari, stuffed mushrooms, compresie salad were all 5 ✨. Salad's are great and fresh. Dinners from Veal Parm, Veal Fransie, Fetachine Alfredo, Clams Scampi and more were all fresh and delicious. Desert's of Lemon Chello, cheese cake and more were perfect. Other than the place is a bit loud will keep this as one of our top 5 Jacksonville restaurants.
