The office is in transition. This clinic has had complete staff turnover recently. The new physician is quite personable as is the new assistant. However, this clinic is part of a chain that has a centralized call center so there are numerous personnel who will have to pass messages through a chain and eventually get back to the patient with the answer needed. Plans made in a visit appear to “fall through cracks” often requiring multiple follow ups from the patient to get piecemeal accomplishment of the expected outcome. One can hope for improvement with time, but at present, if very ill, there may be a smoother place to get care.
I want to thank VIPcare in Jacksonville it's great, every one if that clinic are very polite and and very efficient. Today a saw Doctor Braun she is an excellent doctor , she listen to me and explain everything and any questions I have. I very highly recommend VIPcare in Baymeadows, Jacksonville
Second month in a row I can’t get my prescriptions refilled. I had to go 2 weeks without one of my medications last month that has to stay in your system. They told me Dr. Braun who I never got to meet in 7 months because I couldn’t get an appointment has left. The 2 Doctors on staff who they have that can fill prescriptions have not done so. I called my scripts in over a week ago. This is ridiculous. Also, when I asked one of the staff at this office in Baymeadows what I should do she said “I don’t know what to tell you” and then hung up on me. I’m glad I recorded our conversation. I am going to find a new place with competent staff and Doctors. Good riddance. Sept 4 2026
Horrible management! My grandmother used to go there until Dr.Read left. The manager Misha is extremely rude, rolls her eyes constantly and give generic answers and never helps with solving any of my grandmothers issues when it came to appointments, referrals or any information.
Excellent care from Dr. Abreu-Read and her wonderful staff! From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Abreu-Read took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make me feel completely comfortable. Her knowledge and kindness truly stand out. Dr. Abreu-Read is wonderful! I was feeling down today, and she took the time to listen and showed such kindness—it truly made me feel so much better. The staff is also caring and professional. Highly recommend!
