This place had stuff I have seen nowhere else. I sent Isabel pics of things that made me giggle. I swooned over the amazing collection of vintage lingerie, and I bought Stephen a really great windbreaker/raincoat he cannot stop raving about. 😉 I purchased two adorable mushroom magnets for the Serenity (the van). One reminded me of my tattoo, and the other was too cute to leave behind. Outside there were deeply discounted items, including $2 jeans. I saw a few I really liked, but sadly none were in my size. On my second visit (when I introduced Stephen to Murray Hillbilly for lunch), Stephen discovered a really unique find. I thought it was a ski suit, but according to the tag it was actually a jet ski suit. I had no idea such a thing even existed. Sadly, it did not leave with us. However, one just might be in his future. It does go with his goggles. 🤷♀️ Definitely worth as top, particularly if you have a vintage flair for fashion. It’s particularly worth a visit, in my opinion, if you are looking to do a pin up boudoir photoshoot because I saw some absolute gems just waiting to be discovered.

Many items did not seem to be vintage and the store was very cramped and loosely organized. Me and a group of my friends went in because we all enjoy vintage selections and the employee started to lurk around us. We started talking to each other quietly about her following us and got slightly uncomfortable. My friend was shopping for a dress and was waiting for the dressing room which was the size fit to be a gnome’s bathroom stall. As we waited and looked around a little more the employee inched closer and closer to us as we sifted through the racks. She finally broke her silence and told us to leave and said we were messing up the shelves when we didn’t even remove anything off hangers or put it in a different place. We all put the stuff we were planning to buy back and left. TLDR ; The worker with black hair and tattoos needs to learn to not judge teens by their cover.
Me and my friends were in there shopping and the worker in there was looking at us the whole time and came up to us multiple time following us around the store. We tried ignoring it to continue shopping, and after awhile she came up to us once again telling us to leave saying we were messing up the shop and moving things around when we had been looking around, we were actively shopping and had items in our hand but we decided to just leave Because we all felt very disrespected and put back all the items we had back. We had been there multiple times before but we will not be putting our business there anymore Because of the way we were treated.
I was excited to see the store in Murray Hill called exchange vintage. But much to my dismay, they don't exchange anything. I remember a store called Dejavu. What's hoping the story would be something like that. The person working there I'm not sure if I was the owner was very rude to me when I asked if they exchanged things being that that's the name.It seems a little ridiculous to me. I'll never go back there again.
Nice selection of vintage clothes. I couldn't spend much time here as it has music very loud. Maybe that's the preference of the establishment but does not create a relaxing shopping environment.
