My mother Vicky lives here in 214 and she absolutely loves it besides the lease is going up around three to four hundred dollars a month. Besides that I really enjoy going and staying a couple days with her. I would recommend everyone to get a get away place like this even if you have to co-rent it out if the price is around 800 or less for a studio and 100 more for each room a month
The place was ok when the rent was cheap. Now that JWB took over, they keep raising the rent each year by $200-300. They also stoped doing a lot of the basic maintenance. You can find much better deals around for what they are charging.
These apartments have always been affordable because there is no Central heating and Air / no washer dryer / dishwasher / garbage disposal in the units. Now that JWB is taking over they are raising the rent to match apartment complexes with such amenities. You're better off staying across the ditch.
Love our two bedroom apt. Plenty of room, two blocks from the beach and my job. Close to everything else. Great location. You can't find anything this close to the beach for under $900. Only pay $825.
Since I moved in 2012 years ago, and met other 2 deaf people live villas apt same build so happy to have deaf social, and been lived for 6 months, it 3 block away from Beach, good place, good vibe at beach and it hard to find job for living and never find job yet till I moved back to Miami.
