Victory Chapel Christian Church

Church feels like a cult, and church is apart of Christian Fellowship Ministries, “The Door” when I looked it up. I went here with another person to meet up with a member. As Christ followers, my company and I were super uncomfortable the whole entire time. I observed what appeared to be controlling behavior amongst members. When trying to connect in the church, I was told what I shouldn’t do (activity that isn’t against God). I got concerned when talking to members on what the church is about. Makes me think of when Jesus called out the pharisees as brood of vipers.

This church has been a constant my whole life. In my childhood years my family would visit once or twice a year whenever we were in town visiting family. When I became an adult and life took course I had the amazing opportunity to move here and join this church, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The people have a genuine heart to see healing and salvation brought to your life and welcome everyone with open arms! So much so that many of the people that were practically strangers 4 years ago are a second family to me now. Pastor Meyer and Pastor Jeremy are such a great shepherds and preach so clearly from the Word of God. This church is dedicated to making sure you have the resources necessary to live for Christ. This church and the people in it were key to me living for Jesus Christ in today's day and age. I was out reached to on the military base, and they showed me the love and patience of God through many of the men and women at the church & in their base ministry. Not everything made sense to me at first, but eventually God really showed me that His will for my life was to surrender to Him. About six months of going, I finally humbled myself and responded to the altar call during a revival service at the "baby church" in Mayport, FL. It's been almost 8 years since that time, and ever since I have been living for Jesus and being helped, encouraged and challenged along the way. Live for Jesus Christ. There is no better decision to make.

God brought me to this church a little bit over 11 years. I grew up religious, never felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit in the religion I was part of. The devil is doing a great job making folks believe that they can live a life pleasing the flesh and they won't face the consequences; WRONG!!! I thank the Lord for bringing me to a church where the clear Gospel message is being preached, so my heart can get its regular check up. Church cannot save you, but church can certainly help you stay saved; This is what Victory Chapel has been doing for me for the past 11 years. I can be a better Christian, a better husband, a better father and a better worker today thanks to what the Holy Spirit has been doing in me since I've gotten saved in our church. Ephesians tell us that from Him, we are joined and fitly framed together.
