Valley Smoke Restaurant

This place exceeded my expectations! Everything I tried was a 10/10 no notes 🤌🏾 But honorable mention of the wood grill shrimp appetizer….Wow 😮‍💨🤯😋 taste like a Florida thanksgiving! So very yummy!!! Oh and those Wood grill oysters with that chili garlic butter…cause whoever’s idea that was deserves all the best things in life 🫶🏾 Sat at the bar, and although I like to take advantage of restaurants that have outdoor seating on the water…the restaurant is just as much a vibe on the inside. I love the that the kitchen has this open concepts, and the little bourbon seating section if you have to wait on a table. So sad I didn’t have room for dessert but I definitely will be back with a bigger appetite next time.

Had a great experience at Valley Smoke thanks to Barbi. She recommended the burrata appetizer and described it so well that we had to try it—and it ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. She also made my espresso martini exactly how I like it, which isn’t easy because I’m pretty specific about them. Great drinks, great food recommendations, and really friendly service. We’ll definitely be back.

Valley smoke got a great reputation, my friend and I were visiting the area from California, so we went to check it out. At first they told us there was indoor seating on a human night, so we would wait 15 minutes, but once they came back to us, they took us outside for our seats and it frustrated me tremendously. When we realized that we wouldn't be able to eat in for another three hours after that, we reluctantly took the seats outside to eat. The food was pretty good, although they claim their brisket is the best, and it was lackluster at best, I've had better brisket at Arby's. The ribs were dynamite, the appetizers were really good, including the fried green tomatoes, and the banana cream pie was solid. I would recommend this place for the food, but the service and atmosphere was pretty average.

Great place to eat. The food was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Only thing is there is an odd smell when you first enter the restaurant that could use some attention. This could probably be fixed easily and it doesn’t affect the rating for me. I’d recommend if you are in the Jax Beach/Ponte Vedra Beach area!
