You’ll is mad loud on Saturday from 1-9 pm I have a newborn baby who couldn’t take a nap not one bit I deal with a crying baby all because you’ll want to have a party in a parking next to a whole bunch of apartments not taking that it’s people that work in the morning or got baby’s that live in the area

The first time I went to this church I got there early. My friends and I went there to meet with their community garden group. They were one of the first community gardens to set up in Jacksonville. We arrived early and they told us there was a atheist meeting happening downstairs would we like to join. So of course we did. I was a little scared. Atheist at church what's that all about? I had to find out. I was surprised they were talking about morality and ethics and how that applies to life. It was beautiful.

I was so excited to share my Sunday morning with individuals who seemed (based on their website) to share my values. When I showed up, the two women at the visitors table looked at me, then my chest, and stated, “don’t you have any decency?” I was not wearing a bra, which I felt would be okay and congruent with their “come as you are” attitude. This is an exclusively white, cis, privileged space. I feel deeply disappointed and uncomfortable with how I was treated, especially given how much I was looking forward to joining this community.
