The University of North Florida's driving range is an absolute gem! It offers a picturesque setting, top-notch facilities, and a serene atmosphere for golf enthusiasts. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, this driving range is the perfect place to hone your skills and enjoy a fantastic day on the course. 🌞
Tom Ashton is an awesome Teaching Pro, The Golf Detective!! The facility is perfect for learning everything about golf!!
Had a great time staff was super helpful and supper friendly. Their prices are reasonable and you get a lot for your money compared to other driving ranges. In addition to driving range they offer putting greens, a par 3, and a short course. If your a novice they offer free loaner clubs. I strongly recommend this place.
The range is fine. Turf mats and decent range balls. Prices have gone up several dollars. They don’t turn the lights on the putting and chipping area. Wait, they took away the chipping area. The short course, which used to be free to students, now costs $22 for 9. In those 9 holes, the only two puttable greens were the two that had turf greens. The reason they had turf greens was they rendered the two real greens unusable. The other 7 greens were also unputtable. I wish I had taken pictures. As a former student who could hit balls for $7, play a quick loop, and work on my shortgame under the lights-it keeps me up at night thinking they have people pay $30+ for range balls and to play 9. This is a gem of a facility on the campus of North Florida. The range sits off a side road on campus, includes a clubhouse, and is a short walk over a boardwalk for the range. Its basic and worn, but it’s the bays are partially shaded covered and feels secluded. We visited here four times over two days and felt welcomed each time.
