UF Health Pediatrics - Wildlight

This place is absolutely pointless and a sorry excuse for a pediatric office. Along with a variety of issues within the past 6 months today was the final straw. When I called in the lady advised neither doctor was in office today. How does a doctors office have not a single doctor on staff during business hours? You can't speak to a nurse or anyone in the pediatric office only someone at the main desk of the facility. Once I finally get a call back from Diana, she says there's not a single nurse in the office and to just go to an urgent care. Why is there noone in the office on a Friday(normal business hours according to Google)? I really recommend not being apart of this practice and finding a better pediatric office for your child that is staffed properly and can actually aid in the care of your child when needed.

I’ve been taking my almost 1-year old daughter here for about 3 months now. We really like Dr. McPeak! She is easy to talk to and ask questions. The nurses are very friendly and good at getting vaccines done quickly (which both I and baby appreciate!). Scheduling has been fairly easy with the UF portal, and though phone requires some transferring, I’ve gotten through well enough. Deducted a star for one visit we just seemed to have a really long wait, and in the end they didn’t have the vaccine we needed (the reason we came). I know it wasn’t the nurses’ fault since they didn’t know which specific one we needed until after we saw the doctor, but it was still a little frustrating! Thankfully we were in and out in 20min the next time we scheduled after they notified me the vaccine was available. Overall positive experience here!

This place is ridiculous, called to get my kids well visits scheduled, sorry ma’am our providers don’t take sunshine health but you can drive an hour away at a UF health location and that UF health takes sunshine health. SMH! So you mean to tell me the Wildlight location close to where I live can’t take my kids insurance but another UF health takes that same insurance just drive an hour no problem! But it’s the same UF health all around!! Y’all need to do better, all the manager could say was we don’t take that insurance either cause they tell all their patients that we take their insurance but we don’t, stop blaming everyone else and take responsibility!!! America do better! UF health do better

I needed an updated referral for my child who has been seeing a specialist for over 2 years. They said I needed to have her seen first. When I requested an appointment I was told Dr. K was no longer there and they didn't know who was taking over her patients. After finally getting in with a nurse practitioner, she wasn't sure why they had me come in just for a new referral. Then days later I learned they had sent the referral to the wrong specialists. Dr. K had also told me to put Crisco on my child's eczema. She had no idea what Dupixent shots where (the reason for the referrals), despite the medication being out for years and numerous commercials and asked me to bring her information on it.
